Everything was absolutely wonderful! We had the chicken pieces and onion rings. The batter on the deep fried chicken was perfect – not too crunchy, but super flavorful and the chicken was tender. Onion rings were perfect! We had a chocolate shake, thick, old style shake – better than Steak n Shake! AND the Michigan craft sodas are the best! We will be going back!!

My husband & I decided to try this place because we never had. Bad choice, this was the most horrific food we have ever tried. I didn’t even eat my food. My husband ate his sandwich (Patty Melt) but not his fries because they were so oily they tasted like old oil as well. The server on the other hand was great. $35 on food & I’m not joking. I ate 1 bite & left hungry. Will never go back. Expensive for not even mediocre food. In my opinion it’s not even edible.

I always seek out small local businesses over chains. I wish I could leave positive feedback but my first & last visit here was more than disappointing. I did not realize today when I pulled in to the Diner that it was near closing time, as there were other cars there. I ordered a grilled itialian sandwich & ice tea. It arrived so fast I actually I should have known…my sandwich was NOT AT ALL GRILLED ( probably microwaved), just wet with soggy butter& bread, and a total mess. Not edible & terrible. I would have sent it back but right after I received it they locked the door & closed. The server never checked to see if my order was OK. I wish the server would have been honest that they were about to close and that the grills were off. I would have opted to come another time, or order something different. In fact, before I even left the parking lot the cook walked out & drove off. I spent $15 (and tipped) for food that went into the trash. They didn’t seem to care at all about the quality of the product they put out. The ice tea was awful too, I’m not even sure how you can make bad tea.

The staff was excellent. The young man at the counter today was very attentive to everyone. He was very polite. The food came out quickly and was very very good. Prices were very reasonable too. All around a great time.
