The Clubhouse at The Dalles Country Club, built in 1922 is now home to The Grill Steak and Seafood and, provides members and guests with an exceptional dining experience and full bar. Casual lunches, drinks after your round, or a fine dinner with friends – they are all our specialty and you are sure to enjoy our hospitality. This venue is also a perfect space for Weddings, Birthdays, Reunions, or any other event. The Grill is independently operated by Austin and Tara Woolsey For parties larger than 6 we encourage reservations.

We were traveling through town, and decided to make a detour to have dinner. It is a bit out of town, but worth it.
I had the chicken marsala that was tender, and flavorful. The side of zucchini was tasty and perfectly cooked.
My husband had the pork tenderloin. It was browned all over and not overcooked. He described it as “tasty” and was thrilled we stopped here.

The food was good but very expensive. The kids menu is a joke. Service was ok. It is 3 miles out of town on a golf course. People were a little tipsy and very loud across the room from us. Very loud. The view was nice.

Austin and his crew do an awesome job. If you want a great steak in the Gorge, this is the ONLY place to go. Menu prices are expensive but the quality makes it worth it. Well worth the money spent. We will come back.

We stopped on our way through town for dinner. We had oysters on the half shell and the bacon wrapped dates as appetizers and they were both wonderful! The Caesar salad was excellent. My husband and son had sandwiches – my husband had the club and my son, the beast burger. They both enjoyed them. I had halibut fish and chips, which was also very good. The halibut is thinner and breaded – it was lighter than typical battered fish. The location and atmosphere are pleasant and the staff was attentive and very nice. A gem!

I have eaten steaks all over the Gorge at many different locations. It sets the bar as to if the cook in the back knows what he’s doing. I give this steak an A. I was so happy I tried this place. Excellent food!! Great service. I work hard for my money and when I go out to eat I want a great meal and experience. I got all of that here. The Fettuccini with grilled Shrimp my wife got was excellent as well. We will both definitely be back.
