Disrespectful staff, portion sizes are always small and the food is terrible. Explain to me how do I get an undercooked dry piece of chicken or rice that is also undercooked and overcooked at the same time.

Food was horrible. Cold mashed potatoes is never a good thing. Wife said her rice was cold too. The dessert was good though (chocolate chip cookies)

Salad bar was absolute fire, everything looked fresh, hand selected for fine dining. High end for its location. Layout is not smooth transition to move in, making harder to move. The atmosphere is lively and natural with good lighting and nice decor.

The food sucks. This is the worst food I have ever eaten while in the military. The Navy should be ashamed. Food is always cold, stale, and hard to eat. The waffles are always rock hard and never fresh. It’s really horrible.

Someone could seriously deep fry feces and it’d be of better taste and quality than what is served daily at this galley. The accolades they have received are a sham because that’s only day of the year they bring in halfway decent cooks and have fresh ingredients. If you’re paying out of pocket for any meal go to the golf course’s restaurant since they actually care about their customers.

It’s a Navy galley. The food will provide the legal definition of nutrition that you need. Make sure you have seasonings back at the room and you will have a reasonable meal. Usually.

This is a navy galley catering to NBVC; Seabees, Students, DOD Contractors and Air Force. Bad food jokes aside, any comments, critiques, or criticisms should be brought to our attention at any menu review board. The result of such boards include pizza bar Thursdays, pizza Fridays, continued taco Tuesdays despite navy-wide healthy food initiatives, and daily smoothie bar. If the quality of any particular food drops below your percieved standard, feel free to bring it to our attention mid-meal, and never think we dont care about the quality of our food.

This is a restaurant for NBVC Port Hueneme, its navy galley food and they have a lot of hungry seabees to feed so quantity can sometimes trump quality. Dont expect it to be a regular restaurant, food is decent and they have good desserts
