Nice concept, sushi was just ok, me and my date ordered at the same time and her rolls came 20 minutes after mine did. The gal at the counter double charged me, that was corrected eventually but not a a great first time visit. The place was packed we waited about 15 minutes for a table. They must be doing something right to have the amount of business that they did. Its all you can eat for $40 per person.

My wife and I have been waiting to come here. So dinner time it is for a Thursday night! Finally a AYCE Sushi place in the area! $27.99 for Lunch and $39.99 for dinner. $20.99 for kids 7y-12y, $12.99 for kids 4y-6y. A lot of room for big groups with 2 different seating areas. Looks like there’s enough room for a lot of business.

Man I came in with a plan and it was well worth it. I ordered nothing but sashimi, big orders. Sashimi was the star of the show. Beautifully plated and perfectly cut! My wife ordered some small sashimi dishes, Fitzgerald Roll, BBQ Short Ribs, Salt and pepper chicken wings, Seaweed salad, Fried Calamari. We shared the Unagi Hand Rolls. My son got Gyoza, Takyoaki, Miso soup and chocolate ice cream to finish.
Staff is friendly, place is clean, did have to wait a while to order a few times and get the check.
Definitely gonna come back!

This used to be an Outback Steakhouse. Unfortunately business wasn’t going so well that Sake is here and have replaced this location. My girlfriend and I never been here so we wanted to try it out. We enjoyed that menu had such a variety. AYCE (all you can eat) is best to use weekends only. You can do a la carte but it will be per plate per person so you will be looking it at the pricey side. Although I paid $97.61 for the both of us. That is the weekend AYCE price. The best part is no limit. Order as much as you want and enjoy sushi! We definitely enjoyed the salmon nigiri and all the other rolls. It was good. We’d come back and we hope we are not met with the same attitude we had Sunday night.

Service was going well not until we were met with the snobby male crew. All the females were soft spoken and were very friendly. Front desk counting up tips and taking his time while I was ready to pay. No hello or how was your dinner? Man was too focus counting tips lol. My advice: Go buy a counting machine. And another male waiter. We just sat down after the young lady showed us to our table. We understand you close 9pm and we wouldn’t enjoy our AYCE but we actually did so try doing sales pitch elsewhere cause you suck. None of the workers had name tags so I assume you wouldn’t get blasted but hey keep doing you.

Other than that, not overhyped. Weekend AYCE is worth it. Best to go in groups. 18% gratitude of 5 groups of more!

Our first time here and we are already impressed right away. We went for all you can eat, it’s Thanksgiving Day, the menu is great the taste of all the dishes are so impressive. The bathroom is so clean, the place is big but warm. The staff are very attentive and always say thanks. We will try it again soon, very soon.

I wish we’d come sooner because it did not disappoint! My partner and I do a lot of AYCE sushi particularly in Vegas and this is just as good as the better places there. We love AYCE because doing sashimi and nigiri can get very expensive especially in the bay. We ordered many nigiri sets, some carpaccio, sashimi and the sakura, spider and avatar roll. We liked the avatar roll so much we got it twice. They also do half rolls which is awesome.

We liked this place better than Fuji Buffet.

You can order as many pieces of sashimi at a time. I would recommend to order a good amount when your first order is taken. The wait staff will take longer to get to you the further you are into your meal.

The appetizers come in small portions, which is ideal. It gives you an opportunity to try different appetizers without adding food waste. Takoyaki and gyoza were kid approved here.

The short ribs (dinner) was really yummy, came in 3 small pieces. Was a perfect amount to try.

Tuna, mackerel, and octopus were favorites of ours. We tried one special roll, which was delicious.

Food looked great, sashimi was delicious, presentation was gorgeous. The staff at the front and wait staff all friendly.

$39.99 dinner price (They don’t serve all you can eat sushi during lunch time. Although they have all day dinner during the weekends, if I’m not mistaken.)

We were craving sushi and sashimi, so we had to try this newly opened SAKE here in Pinole. When we arrived, a lot of tables were open, and we were greeted immediately by the staff. They were all approachable—I appreciated that.

Hands down, it’s good-quality sushi, and we had lots of fun trying different items on the menu to get our money’s worth.

It was my first time, but my husband’s third time, so that says a lot!

The bathroom could be better maintained, but everything else was served fast.

It was on a Thursday dinner time during their soft opening.
We did not have to wait for our seat and we chose the booth by the sushi bar.
It was more like an opened sushi kitchen rather than a sushi bar because there were no seating around the bar. The neon yellow logo light boxes above the bar was kind of put off, at least not to our liking. There were 5 sushi chefs working that evening, and the business seemed steady.
Service had lots to of room to improve, seemed the servers were still very new to the system and the menu, they made some mistakes on our orders but they were nice and patient along the way.
If I am to rate the food from A to C, the sashimi and nigiri were A because the quality of the raw fish was good. The appetizers were C because they were mediocre, for filling the stomach, don’t waste your appetite to order those, focus on the sashimi and sushi. I was focusing on the sashimi and nigiri, did not order the roll but we received an order special California roll from the chef (and they were delicious).
My only comments on the sashimi was their house special with ponzu and seasoning #99 to #104 on the sashimi menu, I found them too heavy, ruined the natural sweetness and freshness of the sashimi, therefore I requested an order of salmon belly without the ponzu and seasoning, and they tastes much better without them.
I will bring someone else there again for the dinner because there were more items on the sashimi and sushi than the lunch menu.
We did not have sushi all you can eat in this side of East Bay until now, I hope Sake would improve further.
I gave it 3 stars on Yelp, but decided to give one more star here for the unlimited sashimi and ice cream desserts, which in the other sushi all you can eat restsursnts in LA and Las Vegas were limited to order once per customer.

Went at 4:30 on a Saturday and was seated immediately
Great experience, fish was fresh
Slight lulls in service, but well taken care of overall
The rolls were decent, but sashimi and nigiri were great.
Unclear if they had alcohol was not listed on menu
