I ordered from out of state, and it arrived overnight – super fast shipping! The drinks were still cold and fresh when I received them.
The flavors are amazing, especially the Thai green milk tea- it’s perfectly balanced, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s honestly my perfect taste!
And the toppings…oh my gosh, they’re freaking cute and delicious! Each one has its own texture : chewy, flavorful, and so satisfying. The adorable designs make everything even more fun to eat.
Their customer service is also wonderful — very friendly, polite, and quick to respond to messages. You can really tell they care about their customers.
Overall, I’m super happy with my order — from the packaging to the taste to the service, everything was perfect. Definitely ordering again soon!

I’ve eaten here three times, and all three times were disappointing, so I believe this review is fair and unbiased.
I kept coming back because the restaurant’s marketing is really good, which made me think they might have changed the recipe or improved the quality.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case:
Soup noodles were extremely bland, with almost no flavor.
Dry noodles had a mushy, over-soft texture.
❌ Not recommended. Don’t eat here just because of FOMO.

I came here yesterday.
The drinks were very good, service was good there was only one person doing many things at once. Actually, I could wait because their service attitude was very good, especially the guy with glasses and curly hair, my friend missed the chance to get his contact infor. I ordered two portions of special spicy noodles, and with the staff’s guidance, I chose levels 1 and 3.
The broth was quite delicious, 8/10.
The food was plentiful and filling, 9/10.
As for the drinks, I ordered Thai green tea with full toppings 10/10.
The toppings were very delicious, especially their boba, which was sweet and very easy to eat.
My friend said she just wanna coming back soon to see him.

The service was incredible! The food was really good. The guy name Trí was took care of us and he is nice guy and so sweet! We from Sattle and we always stop by when we came to visit!

I wish I could like this place. I visited it during a trip to LA because I had FOMO, and they were doing great marketing on social media. I had high expectations, but it turned out to be nothing special. To be fair, the milk tea was decent, but their specialties are different types of pudding. The khúc bạch, however, had no flavor. I ordered the full topping to try something new, but none of those had rich, cheesy, or any type of flavor as it should. It was boring. The color and shape were appealing, though. I’ve been a regular at Hippo Loco Milk Tea since they opened, and it’s great to see them growing with more customers each day. Their drinks are always tasty, and the spicy noodles are usually delicious. However, on my last visit, the store was quite crowded, and a few items like beef slices and mussels were missing from my noodle dish. While I understand that it was a busy day, I hope this doesn’t become a regular issue. Overall, I still enjoy coming here and will continue to support them.

I love this place! I’ve been here twice. The most boba milk tea I would love forever is Pandan Milk (25% sweetness because it too sweet with 100%) with full toppinggg. The cat palm pudding is quite bland and boring, it has to flavor but overall Love this shop

This place got pretty popular on Vietnamese TikTok because of their spicy noodles, so I decided to check it out. The food was decent — not amazing, but not bad either.
What really disappointed me, though, was the service. The staff definitely need better training. When it comes to spicy noodles, they should recommend the spice level or at least ask the customer, but they didn’t. I ordered level 3 spicy noodles, and it tasted like pure chili — way too spicy to enjoy. On top of that, the server brought the wrong dish and even mixed up tables, which made things feel really unorganized.
Overall, it’s fine if you just want to try it because it’s trending, but in terms of service, it’s not a place I’d come back to.

The boba was delicious and the amount of food that came was perfect!! I got the milk tea with the ly toppings and it was great! Definitely a steal for the amount of everything that they put! I loved the decor too! It was super cutesty and the logo is so silly! Would definitely recommend for a cute date, so you can share the drink 😉

From out of state and visiting OC, came here because I saw the owner post on SNS and looks quite good. Got the Milo bucket, looks decent but not too impress. I dont think there is enough condense milk inside. I remembered the milo powder and condense milk back childhood in vietnam taste a bit different than this but i maybe wrong. This just taste like regular choco/cocoa powder mix drink with nothing special. Was excited but it’s a bit of let down.
