Yes! You can stop reading reviews— they’re all true! This place is great. My sister in law and I are both GF and we broke away from our bigger family group who have a tradition of going to Al Johnson’s to come here instead. Let me tell you- there is nothing like the FREEDOM of being able to have a GF breakfast spot with sweet AND savory treats alike, no 2 hour wait, and excellent coffee to boot. I got the avocado toast and my SIL got the quiche- and we both got a pumpkin cinnamon roll to go for the next morning in our campsite. DIVINE. All of it. Will definitely return here and try more goodies! What a gem- Door County denizens are lucky to have this in their backyard.

Loved visiting this cafe. Started with a great cup of cappuccino and a gluten free cinnamon roll. They have many vegan and gluten free options. They also have freshly made gluten free sourdough! Will be back when I visit Door County again!

I’m usually too lazy to write reviews, but the food here was amazing!!! The portions were small. We ordered four between the two of us. I still highly recommend it because it was so delicious. It seemed like there were only two people working there. It’s best to order everything you need right away.

Such a wonderful place. The coffee was amazing, lots of gluten free options. Martina, the owner was especially accommodating and we’re bringing home some treats. Very friendly staff. Worth the trip.

The pastry was odd in the way that gluten free pastry is, can’t be helped, that’s just gluten free. BUT! It exists as an option, and that in and of itself is amazing! Such a welcome thing to find in the quaint setting of door county. Additionally, the little reading nook is just delightful; magazines, novels, newspapers, non fiction… Its a lovely, caring little place with amazing gluten free sourdough that I am already missing. I would certainly try some of their savory dishes in the future!

We had the fruit waffles, smoothie bowls and coffee and it was wonderful! The place is incredibly clean, if we found it earlier in our trip we would have gone everyday.

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a beautiful and smiling host/server. Martina makes you feel at ease and she is very knowledgeable on the menu. She is very attentive and you can feel a very calming and positive energy in the cafe due to her positive nature. My sister and I tried the granola bowl and it was absolutely delicious. Wow. The yogurt was creamy and rich. The granola was not too sweet and tasted very fresh. I had the “make you own” smoothie and I substituted milk for coconut water due to my dairy allergy. My smoothie was definitely and without a doubt the best smoothie I have ever had. Not only was it very healthy, with no added sugar, but it just tasted fruity and very fresh. It’s almost hard to describe the flavor because it was too good. I also loved the fact that I could feed both the smoothie and parfait to my daughter without any worry that it was unhealthy. And Luna sure loved it! We loved the cafe and wished we had been there sooner. Definitely our favorite cafe in Door County and we will be back. Thank you, Martina, for an amazing experience and for taking really good care of us.

Appreciate that they have vegan options, but it is not worth the price for what it is and portion sizes and quality is inconsistent. They charge $7 for individual cinnamon rolls that are extremely small. $18 for vegan avocado toast was way overpriced also, and quality is inconsistent. I gave them try two days, second day I went they put barely any cream cheese on the toast and taste wasn’t consistent because of that. Not worth the price. The “Delicious Vegan” vegan chocolate muffin with sweet potato cream was good first day, second day I went and placed order it was dry and unpleasant to eat because of that. Would recommend they adjust their prices lower so you actually pay fair price for what you get and work on their portion sizes and quality control for consistency. They also need to update website when they are out of items so customers aren’t paying for things ahead of time and driving all the way there only to find out the items aren’t in stock.

AMAZING! Their chai latte and açaí bowl were 10/10. This açaí is the closest thing I have had to the ones in Hawaii. So cute, quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend. Staff was so sweet.

My husband and I ate here on the first morning of our trip and was so good we had to come back the next day! Zero Sum is a great place to eat and enjoy company. Martino took great care of us and she is an amazing chef! It can be so hard to find gluten free food you can trust, especially while traveling. It was perfect to enjoy a meal knowing there is no chance for cross contamination. We already cannot wait to come back on our next trip!
