I’m not sure what others do to hate this place so much, but I go on a fairly consistent basis, and I’ve been over 10 times now within the last 3 years. Most recent was a few days ago on my birthday. Every server we’ve ever had has always been extremely nice. Maybe a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but nothing a little patience can’t get through. The cost of everything is insanely high right now, so the fact I can eat as much as I want of ANYTHING for under $50 is a pretty good deal in my opinion. What finally made me leave a review now, is that it makes me sad to see such nasty reviews, as my most recent experience was my favorite. Their kimchi is my favorite, and when we were done ordering meat, we asked if we could yet just a little more kimchi, I told her because it’s the best she said of course, and brought over an entire chunk, cut it right in front of us, and put some in containers for us to take home. It was so sweet, and as minor as it may sound, it really made my day. That being said, if you’re turned off by the prices, or don’t have the patience to take a little extra time to communicate with someone, save them your attitude and go somewhere else.

I had SOJU for the first time!! It was better than I expected. Cool, sweet, alcohol that does not offend your palate. Does compliment the food. New Korean BBQ in Upper Darby. We ate a lot of meat for the price!

The food has and will always be good but it’s 40 dollars a person and the server was kind of a jerk to my parents. Every time we asked for something she seemed hesitant to give it to us and she would explain that she didn’t want us to waste it but we ate all our stuff. We got tiny bowls of rice and when we finished them and asked for more she gave us a one person serving of rice. And when i told her we weren’t going to split that, she went back and forth before giving us the rice. I understand you don’t want waste but you can’t call it all you can eat and skimp out on the sides. I’ll go back but I wish that the customer service was better or that it wasn’t called an all you can eat if it’s not.

There are two types of menu. If you ask for the menu with entrees, you can get 김치찌개, 된장찌개, 고등어구이 and more dishes. It was the most authentic Korean food near our school. Highly recommended.

The AYCE chadol brisket was top notch! The side dishes weren’t too much and just about the right amount and variety. The attending lady was welcoming and nice. I would definitely visit again with my friends.

Spent $93 for the lunch. Left $2 tip on the card but more in cash. Just wanted to round out the bill to 95. Before I could leave, the older lady asked for more tip. A tip isn’t required, but I left a $2 tip on the card and more and cash. She hadn’t realized that. Either way, you don’t ask for a tip. We may have left more if she hadn’t asked.

The food is good if you manage to get inside. I went to their second location before so I assumed this one was fine. When I got to this one, the woman at the front told me to get chicken next door as I walked in. I just assumed she thought I was lost, until I told her I specifically wanted Korean bbq and she still repeated that to me to, “get chicken next door”.
There were very racist vibes and undertones. I would not recommend you frequent this establishment. I hope they get shut down for bigotry.
