The mushrooms are FANTASTIC. Would come back simply for those. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. Prices are a bit steep I’d say. We were seated to the left at a booth and it looked a bit off over on that side of the building. Other than that everything was quite nice.

In a small town like Sterling, it can be hard to find more upscale restaurants. The Grill is a nice place with good food. However, it is definitely on the more expensive side, especially when you compare it to the other places in town. So, I would recommend The Grill if you’re looking for a nicer place to eat with a good atmosphere and great service AND price doesn’t bother you. However, if you just want good food and a good price, you will be disappointed or upset. Know what you want and you’ll be happy with ylwaht you get.

The food here was fantastic! I ordered coconut shrimp and my girlfriend got the mushroom Swiss burger both were delicious! I had an odd request for the kitchen staff see they had calamari (squid) as an item to order… Being a food fan and always wanting to try new things I asked about the calamari. Few minutes later our waiter (waitress, wonderful young lady) gave us, me, a plate of 3 fried calamari and OMFG, first time trying it, I fell in love. Definitely getting a whole order next time! The restaurant itself was pretty laid back, plenty of space, quiet, yet loud enough, music playing, people eating and drinking relaxed, great place to chill. Some menu items were quite high, but for the food and amount, 100% worth it.

Prior to today, I’ve only ever ordered take out. My fiancé and I wanted to finally have a meal inside, and had the time to today. While the atmosphere is really nice, and service has almost always been great on take out and server was very nice today, I was disappointed in my overall experience today. I ordered the bacon jam burger and asked for it to be well well well well done, no pink. It was pink throughout. When the server first came around, I hadn’t taken my first bite of it so I said the food was good so far. If eaten a few of the pub chips (which were honestly fantastic)… and I’m not one to usually fuss about my food. My fiancé did speak up while I went to the restroom just before we paid and left, because he knew I wouldn’t. We got a $3 discount and as you can see, I didn’t eat the burger. I understand no discount had to even be given but I wound up paying over $13 to eat a slice of bacon and some pub chips. E order out from here a few times a week, so it was a little disappointing. If we ever decide to go back, I don’t know that I’ll be getting a burger.

Menu is varied with “something for everyone” without being too busy.
Simple foods, well prepared.
Management is attentive, allergy conscious, and seem genuinely concerned about presentation and food quality.
Service was great. Service team was attentive without being intrusive, we never wanted for anything.
Food was staged, out promptly, fresh, and presented well.
10/10 Will revisit when back in this area.

Food sucks. Bland has very little flavor. I’m not impressed very expensive for we what you get. Staff is super friendly. They make great alcoholic drinks. They have gluten free options. It feels like a nice restaurant but the food does NOT convey that. There desserts are delicious! The rest I’m not impressed. I will try again just to see if the kitchen staff was off.

Usually,small town restaurants are decent and their ratings are higher than they should be. This place was solid. Great service and the prime rib was cooked perfectly. Nothing super fancy just great American cooking. If in Sterling again, I will be stopping at the grill for a meal.

Spinach Artichoke Chicken Sandwich for Dawn, while I had Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sriracha Sauce on the side. Oops, they forgot the chicken for Dawn. They quickly cooked some chicken for us. Great service on the waitress, Nevaeh, for getting the error corrected. The taste of the pulled pork was zesty but not spicy, which made you want the next bite. As for Dawn’s sandwich, we ate half without chicken, and it was still a great flavor and plentiful of spinach. The other have with chicken was even better flavor. For sides we did Garlic Seasoned fries and Sweet Potato fries. Both sides did very well at complimenting the meal.
For our first time here, we will return the next time through.
