Really peaceful place to have breakfast. Prices are reasonable but selections are limited, as it’s only a small shop in the Asilomar community center. Lots of seating with nice views. We came across some wildlife while enjoying our breakfast/recreation and afterwards took a little stroll to the beach after. Great place for families.

So glad I discovered this place during my stay near Asilomar Conference center and beach. They are located in the Lodge for Asilomar, an easy walk on their trails, and I enjoyed morning lattes and quiche, and evening wine and sunset views from the Lodge deck. Lovely.

No selection of baked goods and coffee was mediocre at best. No half and half, told me to just use the flavored sweetener (no thanks)
Walked here from a ways away. They could do much better as the only game in town. The guy was friendly but looked stretched thin. Lots of great outdoor seating though

Very friendly wait person. Good vegan even for a meat eater. Had the artichoke appetizer, nicely grilled with garlic. For entree, we had the California pizza. Tasty and enough to fill up both of us. Looked at other people’s salad and tamale pie and it was huge. Will try next time.

Very friendly (they filled hot water in a jar for my wife’s specific tea MULTIPLE times over three days at no charge).
Nice selection of prepared food for all meals and many beverage choices, adult and otherwise.

Disappointing. Such a scant offering compared to what the guests of this fine facility deserve. In addition, they don’t accept cash. This is a dealbreaker for me on principle, in addition to the practical cost of me just wasting a trip to try this place. It’s like a vending machine, but with real people handing you the stuff. And very pricey. Considering the fine restaurants of downtown Pacific Grove are only a couple minutes away, Phoebe’s is a waste unless you’re desperate (and carrying a bank card).
