A bit out of the way, but convenient to Findley Lake and Peek’n Peak Ski Resort. The atmosphere is nice and the service was fine until it got a little busy. The beer selection was a little lackluster but the menu had a nice variety. We ordered the Chicken Salad, Cuban Sandwich, Chicken Alfredo and Sirloin Steak. The food was ok except the fries were a little tough. Not sure how that could be. No reason to avoid it, but I have other places to try.

The food is incredible, great portion sizes for the price, they tailor to any need you have and even offer gluten free buns and gluten free beer! The menu items are like nothing around and the south shore sauce the owners created is delicious. The drinks are delicious and they have all sorts of muddled drinks with fresh fruit and fresh mint. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The views are gorgeous also and the vibe of the place is just unmatched! Definitely worth the trip out.

So this one was a good one for me.. being a city boy I have always had weird experiences going through small towns and going to their local restaurants.. but this one was a great one with amazing food for me. The bartender Carly welcomed us in and was extremely friendly and open ended. That meant a lot for me and my wife. For sure going to be a go to spot from now on when visiting the area.

Ordered burger. Never asked how wanted it cooked. Came out more on rare side. Addded onions and mushrooms. Added $4 making it a $16 burger . Bartender Ashlie left bar and chatted with friends…so getting a bev required extra patience. Fries were excellent.

We love eating at this local small business! Their burgers and fries are always delicious and you can’t go wrong with any of their appetizers! Everything we have tried here has been great. The family has tried a lot of different menu items at Compass, and they have all been excellent! Favorites include Lizzy Dip, grilled chicken sandwich, smash burgers and ribs. Plenty of seating in the dining area and in the bar area.
The decor is just as eclectic as the menu. Makes for a fun atmosphere to eat, drink and be with friends.

Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Spaghetti was good but had way to much sauce, had at least 1/2 cup left after all Spaghetti was gone. Meatballs were ok ,to much oregano for my taste but that may be just me.. wife had chicken salad and liked it . Riblets for starters were good. Overall good experience, will definitely come back.
