I went here a few days ago and got a chicken Caesar salad. I asked for no anchovies. I got anchovies, rock hard chicken and the inside of the chicken had pink parts. My friend ordered a medium rare burger and it was hard on the outside and dripping with blood on the inside. We think the grill must have been too hot if the exterior of the items were overcooked and the inside was undercooked. I was just really disappointed in general. Our waiter, he was wonderful, but it also took minutes for the server to acknowledge us and seat us. For the price and location, there needs to be better quality control on this all. I mean it’s a patio bar. We got a salad and a burger. Shouldn’t have turned out the way it did and we are both locals, who want to support local economy…but idk. Very disappointed.

Food was very overpriced ($27 for my tiny salad, which was supposed to come with green beans). Server was slow and watched over our shoulder as we were tipping. At least the location is beautiful.

Happy to say we had a totally different experience than other reviewers. Nicoise Salad was very good & perfectly dressed. “Avocado Bites” was a generous portion on thick Ciabatta, lots of heirloom cherry tomatoes & delicious. Attentive service too. (& the view is spectacular as the restaurant is perched above the beach.)

Quite possibly the worst service EVER. They do not train their staff at all. They do not know what they are doing and are more interested in talking to each other than working. Not a single employee will ask you if you need anything you could stand there for an hour and not be asked if you need help. You have to ask for everything you want or need. This is a place in a hotel that charges $900 a night in a VERY OLD and dated hotel. They simply do not care about quality and service.

The quesobirria is excellent! The ahi poke nachos were pretty good, we couldn’t stop eating the wontons that were covered in a combination of two delicious sauces. The drinks are unfortunately subpar and overpriced. Service was just ok – our food went to the wrong table and had to be remade and the staff was confused at our request of a high chair even though there were many young children present.

Stopped here after seeing the view and just wanted to have a cocktail. We ordered wonderful drinks and had the birria quesadillas, chips and salsa, and the ahi poke nachos which were especially outstanding! Service was great and we had a great time. It wasn’t too busy when we went.

They have a decent menu. However, they charge $6 per glass for ice tea and they don’t offer free tea refills. This isn’t mentioned on the menu either.

The food is what you would expect at a beach bar in a touristy area: average/below average, and expensive. I’m giving 3 stars because of the view, otherwise it would have been 2. Service was average. A lot of servers milling around and socializing amongst themselves, but it took a long time to get food, drinks and check.
