The F2 Tortado with chopped brisket is easily in my top 10 favorite restaurant foods of all time! I don’t normally like “barbeque” but Jack smokes the 2nd most delicious brisket I have ever eaten. The first being my mother, which is saying something because she won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Award in high school…after she tried to skip the test. Point being: the food at Mesquiteville Bar-B-Q is delicious! Good food, good vibe, and good people!

My wife and I stopped in to eat and we each had the pulled pork sandwich. We both agreed it was delicious! She’s not a sauce person, but I sure am and it didn’t disappoint. The owner insisted we try the ribs and they were fall off the bone perfect. The atmosphere only adds to the experience. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Can’t wait to try the sausage on my next time through Jacksboro.

By far one of my favorite places to eat BBQ! So many “authentic” BBQ places no longer actually smoke their meat in the traditional way but Mesquiteville sticks to their roots. Warning!! You better use a fork because the meat is so tender it falls to apart. Couldn’t ask for better flavors. The Tortados are to die for. Their sauce is so unique and perfect even though you don’t even need it because all of their meats have bold tasty flavors. I can’t say enough about the family that runs it. Super nice and outgoing.

Excellent food, really good prices and some of the best smoked meat in North Texas. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it has all been tasty. They’ve helped out first responders and members of the community who were affected by the recent tornado. They’re good people and they have great food. And if you’re looking for something to try – get the tortado.

This is the best BBQ in town! My only complaint is the ribs go way too soon and are so good! They also are wonderful members of the community. During the aftermath of the devastating tornado that came through, they loaded meals up everyday and WALKED through the affected areas to make sure everyone was fed-at no charge. Not only are they a great place to eat at but they look out for their neighbors. Make sure you get some “Naner” pudding while you’re there.

We love our little Bar-B-Que place on the corner. We haven’t eaten anything that wasn’t awesome!! The owner is very friendly and always willing to fix us up a great meal. They were also on the front lines feeding our community when the tornado hit. They didn’t hesitate to close their doors from making money and fed everyone in need for free. That says something to me and they always have our business. Go by and get ya some ribs, brisket, or an amazing stuffed tortado!!

They have the most delicious bbq! After the tornado in Jacksboro, they came & served the community free lunches during the clean up & were absolutely awesome. Very good people! Would highly recommend eating there!
