We visited for the first time and can’t wait to go back! The menu is huge so I’d recommend taking a look at it online first to get an idea of what you’d like. I ordered a plate with fried whiting, Cajun fries, and wet lemon pepper wings. Everything was delicious! Crispy breading on the fish, crispy fries, and the wings were probably my favorite item. They were seasoned to perfection. Plus their ranch was especially good! Very friendly staff as well. We will definitely be returning!

I’ve been wanting to try Royal Ranch House since they opened in March 2025, and boy am I sad it took me this long to go! So many options from baked potatoes, burgers, wings and wraps in addition to their cafeteria style offerings. It took me a really long time to decide what I wanted but the staff were incredibly helpful, patient and so very friendly. I got a large Cajun ranch fries (pictured) and they were the freshest, most tastiest fries I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely perfect. My husband got the hamburger steak w gravy & onions, mac and cheese and the potatoes wedges. Also all very good! They just came out with a Breakfast menu offering so we will probably go back to try that sometime soon. It appeared to be a favorite lunch spot for locals and I am not surprised by this at all. GREAT value in terms of quality and portion size for what you pay. What an absolute gem this place is – we will definitely be back!!

Today was my first time visiting and I was pleased. I ordered baked spaghetti, collard greens, green beans and cornbread. As a side I ordered mac n cheese to sample the taste. The staff was professional and the prices and portions were generous and reasonable. Will return.

This was my first time visiting Royal Ranch House. I heard from a friend that it was a guaranteed Halal-only restaurant, so I definitely had to give it a try. I ordered the grouper fish with cabbage and mashed potatoes, and it was excellent. I highly recommend it! The service was quick, professional, and enjoyable. Thank you, Royal Ranch House, for a great dining experience — I will definitely be back!

A++! Great attitudes by warm staff who were clearly happy to be there. I ordered a chicken Philly, which isn’t on the menu and the gentleman behind the counter graciously agreed. It was Delicious!!! I will definitely be back. I appreciate a restaurant who takes pride in their craft and people! Great portion sizes and very affordable! Yummy!!

We chose this place on DoorDash thinking it was going to be authentic soul food. The hamburger steak was very obviously prepackaged and frozen. The mashed potatoes were instant and the gravy had almost zero flavor. If you’re looking for GOOD soul food, this isn’t it.

Please do yourself a favor and TRY the Royal Ranch House. Ignore the fact that it is in an old fast food building. The food is really great, the portions are large and the prices are very reasonable!
My wife and I both had the lunch plates, she had the hamburger steak, green beans and mac & cheese; the steak was huge and everything on the plate was delicious. I had the catfish filets, greens, and baked potatoes. I got two large pieces of fish, the greens were really good and had a lot of seasoning ham, and the baked potatoes were cooked perfectly. We each had enough left to get a go box. All in all a great experience! Food was good, service was great, highly recommend!! I gave a 4 star for the atmosphere, just because an old Krystal building is not typically where you expect a food meat & 3 to be. Don’t be deceived by the outward appearance.

I was super excited to have a meat and 3 in the area but I think they have some work to do after trying it out. The catfish was decent they cooked it well but their tartar sauce is weird and really sweet. The mac and cheese was garbage honestly. They just poured some cheese on top of the noodles and it was very dry and flavorless. I’ll give them another shot with something else but I need more soul in my soul food.

Very nice people running a good restaurant. The fried catfish was well-seasoned and my companion said the hamburger steak was good as well. Vegetables ain’t my mom’s but pretty good as well My only criticism is to just use a quality cornbread mix because the current cornbread is too dense, dry and not very tasty. Prices are very fair for the amount of food you get. Overall it will be a regular stop for me. Going to stop by for breakfast sometime as well.
