We passed by this little place a few times on the way to our hiking spots and finally got the chance to stop. We are SO GLAD we did!
The sweet lady at the front window was very kind. She was happy to walk us through the menu and her favorites when we informed her it was our first visit. My husband had two asada tacos, two pastor tacos, and one quesabirria taco. I ordered three quesabirria tacos, a watermelon agua fresca, and the birria ramen. They offered for us to use the patio and picnic tables or to park in the grass if we felt it was warmer in our truck. This time we opted for the truck, but the patio looks like it would be nice during the day.
I intentionally seek out birria ramen across the country, and have tried twenty different versions from California to Georgia and everywhere in between. YALL. TRUST WHEN I SAY THIS WAS *THE BEST* BIRRIA RAMEN I HAVE EVER HAD! There was no nasty packet soup in that cup, it was all delicious homemade broth dripping with flavor. The noodles were cooked just right and not soggy at all. There was SO MUCH birria in the ramen, and it was incredibly tender! I loved the mozzarella cheese and red pepper flakes on top, very nice touch! We were both over the moon for the quesabirria tacos, they were oozing with cheese and stuffed with tender birria. The consomme with the cebolla and cilantro was the cherry on top. My mouth is watering just writing about it.
My husband enjoyed both varieties of tacos. We were both so thrilled that they had red, green, and an oil based salsa as we both thoroughly enjoy the spicier side of life. Wish we would have tried the chips as well, I’m sure they’re homemade! Both types of tortillas were divine, don’t sleep on those.
I am absolutely a watermelon aka sandia agua fresca lover. I order it any chance I get. So often restaurants pack it with sugar and the true watermelon essence gets overshadowed by overbearingly sweet syrup flavor. I cannot say enough how PERFECT this watermelon agua fresca was!!! I can tell they used fresh watermelon, it was just the right amount of sweet, and they still let the watermelon shine like it should and be the star of the show! It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every single way. Exactly what I wished for on my birthday! I am so looking forward to trying the aguas locas with all of the goodies on top!

It is truly hard to find a place that takes the time to pour love into their food, and we could tell with every bite of each taco that you guys not only know what you’re doing, but you love what you’re doing as well. You have returning customers every time we come through Palestine. If you are traveling through and they’re open, STOP AND TRY IT OUT! You won’t regret it! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Its a great place for a quick grab. You can customize the items that’s on thr menu. Pineapple juice is so fresh and refreshing. My family enjoyed it. Please dont miss their fresh juices.

I’m from Spring, TX about 2 hours away, my wife found this place in our way to a farm we’re staying at. We had 2 chicken tacos, tacos al pastor, 4 tacos de diftek and elote. The food was delicious well seasoned and the salsa is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. This is our new taco stop every time we come visit the farm… The best part it’s extremely reasonable price, I mean you definitely get what you pay for great tasting food and the customer service was excellent too.

We got the mixed taco special. We had ten birria and ten barbacoa. Everything tasted amazing, they were packaged well and all of the trimmings were fresh! They were very nice when I called to order and were helpful when we got there and were trying to decide which fresca to get. The watermelon agua fresca was delicious!! We recommend this place to anyone wanting tacos!!

The best Birria around this town! My husband got the beef torta and was not disappointed, the meat has a lot of flavor. Staff has been friendly both times we went! It looks like it has an area to sit down if you wanted to eat but I think its primarily drive thru? I am not too sure. We always order ahead and its ready in 10-15 minutes. But food was fantastic and we will be returning customers!
