It was terrific! Just the right amount of horseradish and pepper jack cheese, and not dried out at all. It’s not that this was a good airport sandwich. This was just a delicious sandwich, period.
She was not friendly whatsoever, didn’t crack a single smile and looked like she was miserable. I understand having bad days and the food industry being draining, as I’m a retail worker myself.
However, I was polite and was trying to purchase a sandwich along with one of their to go items. I handed her the to go snack to buy and also ordered their High Country Steak and Cheese sandwiches. I asked if she accepted cash, and she told me yes. So I hand her cash to pay with, but she kept referring to the card transaction device.
I just paid with card to make things easier, but she never rang me up for the to go snack I wanted to buy. I only got my hot sandwich in the end, but I’m frustrated with my unfulfilled order and a worker that does not care less for service.
As for the sandwich itself, super fresh and delicious! I enjoyed my meal, but wish I had the additional Prosciutto and Cheese I wanted to buy, but was denied of because this cashier that doesn’t listen or care for their customers.
Shout out to the hard workers in the kitchen who made my food, though!
I came when there was no one in line and placed my order. First time here and heard great reviews. The person who took my order asked for my name and ushered me to the waiting area. Everything seemed fine. There were about 6 ppl waiting for their order prior to me.
Long after the ppl had received their orders and left, a slew of more people after me received their order, and having waited for about 20 minutes, I realized my order may have been missed and asked the employee who was handing out the sandwiches about my order. He couldn’t find my order, tried to ask the cashier who took my order but seemed like they were not communicating nor addressing my order. The cashier seemed to be disinterested and somewhere else. More time ensued with awkwardness before he finally said that the would make my order. While I waited another 10 minutes for my sandwich, he finally managed to get the attention of the cashier who took my order and after some more back and forth, the cashier finally looked at me and acknowledged the order I placed and that they literally skipped making my order b/c he couldn’t put my name in the system and they thought it was part of the party before me. I tried being understanding but the way they handled the situation left me feeling very uncomfortable and awkward, like maybe I wasn’t their customer? At the end, I did not get much of an apology , not any effort to make up for their mistake. The It’s amazing how they have a computerized system that queues the orders yet they chose to completely skip my order.
This is an airport and guests need to catch their flights. Fortunately, I had a longer layover otherwise it would have bee worst.
On top of that, the customer service was genuinely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and the kind that makes you feel like you’re a regular even if it’s your first time. Prices were totally reasonable for the quality, which honestly feels rare these days.
I had pastrami on rye DW had BLT,one water and small coffee.
Portions were adequate for us, tasty but small.
