I forgot to add we got Thai coffee as well! And it was so scrumptious!
The staff are amazing, and said anything on the menu can be made vegetarian and vegan, which was a wonderful option!
The interior is really lovely, just as you enter there is a pond with lotus and taro plants, and the decor is bright and cozy.
I ordered the chive cakes, fired tofu, tofu salad rolls, and thai papaya salad. The flavors are balanced and clean.
The papaya salad is Excellent, the tiny crunchy shrimp and crushed peanuts on top are such a nice finishing touch. 12/10!
Chive cakescakes are also great, super flavorful, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. 10/10
Fried tofu is exactly what it sounds like- plain firm tofu, fried to perfection. 10/10
Salad rolls were also excellent, I was very happy to find some vegetarian rolls, 11/10.
Highly recommend this spot, and will be back the next chance I get!
Have now ordered to go several times and dined in three times, once with husband, once with kids, once with friends. We tried lots of things, and all loved our dishes; would recommend to anyone who loves Thai. The family who owns the restaurant is so sweet, and they are very generous in spirit and with their food. Still highly recommend and still find myself drooling about their pad thai and wanting to go again soon!

Original post, from 2024:
I ordered via delivery, so can only comment on the food. I ordered Pad Thai w chicken, mild spice, and the chicken spring rolls. FIRST of all, these are the best spring rolls I’ve had in years. I used to go to H Mart and get my own ingredients to make them because it was sooo hard to find good spring rolls w peanut sauce. BOTH of those are amazing here!!
Secondly, as a precursor: I am white af w rosacea, and cannot handle too much spice. The mild spice of the chicken pad thai was almost too much while it was freshly hot. After it cooled down, it was far tastier for me personally. It was absolutely delicious. The tamarind sauce was to die for. Chicken in it was just okay, not incredible.
Overall, give everything a 9/10 and would 10/10 visit again!!
Also I thought it was really hella kewl that when you order you get your choice of an egg roll, spring roll, or soup. All be it small, it was still nice, and very good. But the dipping sauce tasted really sweet, which was good/different, but surprising when your expecting fish oil lolol
UPDATE: the beef fried rice is absolutely addictive and the price can’t be beat!!! Like before, the staff is super sweet. I absolutely love this place!
What made the meal even better was the staff. They were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us some great suggestions from the menu.
Overall, Boun Thai Bistro is a great spot. The food is delicious, the vibe is chill, and the people are lovely. I’d definitely go back.
The food is flavorful and you can choose your heat level which I love because all though I love hot food, some people don’t.
I got the shrimp pad Thai and WOW! So good!
I will definitely revisit this place and be coming back.
