This was our time we ordered. We ordered the family pack for 19.95 and a pint of white beans. The meal was fantastic. The BBQ was delicious . The staff was great and greeted us at the drive thru. We will definitely return and do business again. Keep up the great work and great food.

I eat here at least once a week, great food ,great service ,ok prices on what I can afford. I always get the big pork sandwich or a half pound of BBQ. The last time I went their I got home warmed up my sandwich, sat down for the first time all day, took a bite and there was a long hair. I know it wasnt mine as mine was blue. I work in food service and while is isnt pleasant, it does happen. What upset me was when I called up there to speak to a manager I was told to hold on just a second and no one ever came to the phone so I hung up.

Most things are great here, but I ordered a pulled chicken sandwich and Brunswick stew, and I highly recommend against those 2 items. The chicken tasted like store bought cafeteria style “bbq” chicken, and the stew had so much vinegar it overpowered everything else. I had to search for any meat, and there was no bbq, meat or smoke flavor . . . just vinegar. Disappointing meal, but I’ll still go back.

Ordered $60 worth of food from here on December 31st the brisket was so dry it just crumbled apart hurt when you chewed it, the ribs were so done that they were nothing more than a tough skin that tasted like seasoning and chewed like leather. The only saving grace in any of this mess was the four pieces of sausage I got that were actually pretty good but definitely not worth $60 the other plate meal that we got was the exact same way and the other meal was a hamburger that apparently they didn’t screw up. What a waste of money anyone could clearly see that product was subpar and you sold it anyway disgusting.

I usually never would leave a bad review, but I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since moving to Madison. This evening we purchased the 2 meat plate for $20 and honestly it was worse than a disappointment. The pork had huge pieces of fat throughout, the smoked sausage was the texture of thick puree and the okra was undercooked, the fried cornbread was a cold pancake. Definitely will not return, not complaining to the restaurant because I wouldn’t want to try a replacement.

Ordered 2 pounds of pulled pork and barbecue chicken for Thanksgiving. Also got fried Ocracoke fried pickles and banana pudding. It was ready when scheduled. All our food was great. I may do the same for Christmas.
