The foods we had were not bad, nothing special, but good ones. None of the 3 staffs spoke english, that is also OK, I don’t care, usually we can manage pretty smooth. However really annoying it was that I could not order 3 foods and 2 drinks, they did not get what I tried to tell them. Confusing when they say OK for everything, while you feel they don’t get my point. Then I started slowly point on the menu we would like to order (anyway, it is also OK, I am here to eat, I don’t judge anyone due to language). After the order I felt something is not OK, so when they brought the drinks I just wanted to double check the food order. Even though we seemingly managed to order, during the “conversation” it turned out they did not have a clue what I wanted to order. So the second turn came. Somehow I managed to order 1 taco, 1 chicken curry pasta, 1 soup. The waiter guys were good guys, but I did not get why they asked every minute if everything is OK – however when I was about asking the bill, they had chit-chat for ~10 minutes at the corner. The food is good, that was the intention of the visit

During our trip to Havana we went here a lot. The food is very delicious (we recommend ceviche, tacos, empanadas, croquettes), the cocktails are strong and good. Also, a really good coffee (especially in comparison to the other places in Cuba). The service is excellent, very considerate, friendly and not disturbing.

Plenty of outdoor seating, which means you’ll get visits from both the cats and the mosquitoes at night. We ordered the grilled fish which came out partly raw- had to send it back to the kitchen which the waitress took offense to and was unapologetic about. It actually tasted decent during round 2 but the experience had already left a sour taste in our mouth.

This place was on my list but I ended up very disappointed. When we just sat down, I confirmed with the waitress THREE times that the rate for Canadian dollars was 270 CUP. I knew that was unusually high but that was the reason I double checked with her. When we got the bill, the price in Canadian dollars was more than three times higher than I expected. This was very very upsetting.
Besides that, many options were not available. Nonetheless, the sandwich was great.
