If I could give a zero for the treatment this place gave me on Sunday January 5th 2025 I would. I often go too this restaurant at least once, sometimes twice a week. Never encountered any problems. As I proceeded to pay for my food , one of the ladies behind the counter instructed the other not to take my money, because it was no good. I mean no good as in counterfeit. So, I asked again what is wrong with the money, I got this from the bank. So now her answer was she didn’t know. Where’s your manager not available. So I took it upon myself to contact police. Basically I’m being accused of attempting to pass off counterfeit money. Police arrive, and what do you know the boss man appears. I explained to officers they never run the money through machine, nor did they mark it with a pin. What a joke. Boss proceeded to tell police bank advised him not to take any 20 or 100 dollar bills. Exactly make sense of that. Officer Mark the bill, money good as a brand new off the machine bill. The boss of this establishment and his workers showed their lack of customer service skills and ignorance. What they don’t realize is the true meaning of defamation of character. But they will soon find out. I’m only one person, but the money from this one person spends elsewhere. The nice officer offer to pay for my food, I thank her, but no. After that incident why would I want the devil hands on my food. You never suppose to say never, but that is one establishment that will not see me or a penny of my money again. And again Fernandez restaurant you will soon find out the true meaning of defamation of character.
