Muy pronto is a little spot in the old area where Lucio’s was and has a great standard go-to Mexican food…what I like to call Cali Mexican.
Got the taquitos, a taco combo plate, the tortilla soup. The salsa was good. All were delicious.
It’s a small little shop, no frills, street parking, quintessential, small business, great little spot for lunch, to support them.They are in old Torrance.

If you find yourself wondering whether or not to give this new place a chance, YOU 100% SHOULD. This is hands down the best Mexican food restaurant in the South Bay. You may even see a familiar face or two! I may be biased, as the main chef is my father, but if you love good authentic Mexican food, stop by for spicy salsa, the biggest burritos, the warmest bowl of albóndigas soup, or my personal favorite – Beef Nachos!

We were concerned that the quality of the cuisine and service might decline following the change in ownership, but we are pleased to report that the high standards have been consistently maintained. The food and service remain exceptional. I have, and will continue to, recommend this restaurant to my acquaintances and family.

I work near the restaurant and I’ve been going there for lunch pretty much everyday I can. Usually I’ll get the huevos rancheros or La Hamburgesa and every single time the eggs are cooked perfectly and the burger is flawless.The ladies at the front counter are always so nice and I like to touch up on my Spanish with them when I can haha. The building is a little smaller but I would definitely recommend this restaurant instead of the more popular La Capilla. Fio and Nere are La mejor! There’s another lady at the front who is also very nice but I haven’t gotten her name yet haha and I hope I spelled their names correctly. Either way they all deserve a raise or bonus. The chef is also very nice and is an amazing cook. Thanks for making my lunch such a pleasant experience!

One of the best homemade meals you can get! They make an addictive complimentary salsa to go with their chips. The go-to would be the posole/pozole verde (add some of their homemade hot sauce!). The BEST posole/pozole ever, for cold weather, warm weather, hangover cure, getting out of the flu, whatever you need! We’ve tried others around the area, and no one comes close. Their albondigas soup is amazing as well!
