When trying a new place, I usually try their staple dishes or items where I know should definitely its standard. That’s not what we did with this one. We didn’t even have Pho. We ordered Banh Khot (mini prawn cake), Nem Cua (crab spring roll), Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Phnom penh noodle soup).
I only suggest ordered Hu Tieu if you feel comfortable with seasoning it yourself with the condiments that they include on the table. If not, then the soup may be more bland for your taste.
The Nem cua be is good but I don’t really get the crab flavor in it as much and forgot I was eating that. The good part is that they’re pretty big, but the downfall is that it’s not as bite size as I’d like it.
Banh khot is something I don’t see too often in Vietnamese restaurants in Vegas so I had to try it. I will say that it is good and I highly suggest it, but this one kind of had a doughy texture that I wasn’t used to. Kind of similar to mochi like. I wouldn’t say this is the best place for you to try it but also it isn’t so common in Vegas so why not give it a go.
We also ordered a lychee green tea drink and a coconut coffee drink. The lychee green tea drink was pretty refreshing as it also had lychee jelly in it. The coffee in the coconut coffee was pretty strong so it masked the coconut flavor. It was pretty much similar to a regular Vietnamese coffee
The location is very spacious and has a small little parking lot. I came here previously when it was a Thai restaurant (La Moon) so one of the main reasons for coming here was to see how it changed. The decor is definitely really nice with all the dark colors accented with green plants everywhere. We came at night so it was very intimate and there wasn’t that many people there. The service was normal as the dishes came as soon as they were finished.
The menu? Elite. Not the watered-down, Americanized stuff. This is true Vietnamese food with depth, variety, and soul. Every dish tastes like it was cooked with intention. The flavors are balanced, comforting, and authentic—everything reminds us of home.
The service is just as strong. Attentive, kind, and efficient without rushing you. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience, not just turning tables.
We’re visiting from Washington, and let me be clear: this place is now a non-negotiable stop every time we’re in town. Worth the trip. Worth the hype. Worth coming back again and again.
If you know Vietnamese food, you’ll appreciate this place. If you don’t, this is where you start.
– beef quality was ok, it’s kinda hard to chew, we had better short rib pho elsewhere. For the price of $26, we expected a bit more.
– the broth tasted so sweet which we though is very strange.
– the noodles came separate on a plate, it became very soggy once you add in the broth.
House Vermicelli:
– Pork was marinated pretty good. The spring roll had several hard shrimp pieces inside.
– overall bland except for the pork itself.
they are leaning toward fine dining vietnamese cuisine/fusion but still carry that authentic taste.
cute plating and presentation.
we were hungry so we ordered so muchhhhh for two.
5/5 ambience – Just enough decoration for a modern Vietnamese restaurant. I love that they have their own parking lot, and I prefer this location over the one on Serene. It’s much more spacious so I don’t feel cramped while enjoying my food. (I visited the first location back in December.)
5/5 unique menu – They offer dishes you can’t find at most Vietnamese restaurants in the area.
5/5 Bánh Cuốn / Rice Rolls – $17. MADE TO ORDER, NOT PRE-ROLLED! Big portion with leftovers to take home. Plenty of fresh herbs and a generous filling and well seasoned ground pork and wood ear mushroom . Better than what we had at YẾN Viet Kitchen a few days earlier.
4/5 Bò Bía – $12.50. This is purely personal preference! I prefer more jicama and dried shrimp instead of egg. Still, the portion was generous with 4 rolls.
4/5 Mì khô Nam Vang – $19. Loved that they offer 3 noodle options (mì, hủ tiếu, or miến). The broth was decent, and while the sauce for the mì was okay, it didn’t quite wow me.
5/5 restroom: fully stocked with toilet seat covers, they even provide wet wipes, and it was clean.
I would come back based on our pleasant experience this weekend at this second location in China Town, and our first time in December at the first Serene location. Food quality has been consistently delicious at both locations!
The pho was absolutely perfect — rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed after last night . Their coffee was also amazing — strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
The interior design is so cozy and aesthetic — warm lighting, calm colors, and those little details that make you want to stay longer. The staff were super kind and attentive, everything felt easy and comfortable.
It’s one of those places where you instantly feel relaxed — great food, great energy, great people. Definitely coming back again
