I did not expect a famous belgian waffle to be covered in burnt flakes from the iron and paired with Smuckers syrup. I don’t think the waffle iron has been cleaned in a while, since I came in the morning on a slow day. The waffle is light, sugary, and crispy. They have a register, but a note says to order on the tablets to the side. No seating, food served at the counter in to-go boxes. The frites are very well cooked and smooth inside, with good quality dipping sauce. They include a lot of fries with the sandwich. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which has green sauce and crispy onions. The bread is high quality, but the chicken patty is not. Spent 19.97

Super fun place to go and eat that waffle was amazing!! (I recommend getting a second scoop of ice cream), we were still just a little bit hungry so we got some cheese fries too follow it with, those were very good also and I loved their fry sauce we could have got out of their toppings but we’ll have to try something different next time.

Tasty! Great fries… Don’t know about the other options yet, maybe another trip

Sauces are a great option for variety sake. They compliment the fries in a good way. Note: the flavor that sounds hot… It’s not at all. It was one of the least flavorful of them.

The screen for ordering was easy to use and allowed you to take your time.

The line was not a problem. Orders were coming out about every 5min.

After my arrival in SLC, I was hungry and got this food place right beside. They look interesting and so I went to pick some brunch. The Belgian was great – with the cream that they gave as a side. The chicken fry was ordinary, just like any fast food joint. I took some fries too. The fries were crunchy, well seasoned, hot, and fresh. The dip with it was some aioli with basil and some herbs. That was yum too. Overall, I liked it, although I felt the price could be a little less.

Pros and cons of this place. Starting off with the pros, I got the Belgian style fries and they were cooked to absolute perfection. If you don’t care about price and are just looking for good food, I would recommend this place. Me personally, I like a balance between price and taste plus quality. The price point was kind of high, and the dipping sauce was expensive for the amount you get. Any additional sauce, including ketchup, is an extra dollar. Definitely a rip off in my opinion. Also, the presentation was in a clamshell, not wrapped like on the menu board and like they do in Belgium, so it didn’t look very authentic. Like I said though, if you don’t care about price and you just want food tasting food, definitely would recommend.

I came for the Frites and I was not disappointed. Hot fresh and crispy. Not skinny fries so I really enjoyed them. Chicken tenders were hot and bigger, almost like half breasts. I had to settle for their airport location which is limited. Next time I will be going to the one downtown. Maybe they’re not perfect Belgian fries but way better than I’ve had anywhere else.

My food was really good! I wanted a sweet treat and that’s what I got. My problem here was the waiting time, almost 20 minutes for a simple waffle!? And that is because the manager have only one person taking all orders, preparing and cooking. That’s not how it should be, Mr/Mrs Manager!!!

I stopped by the Airport location. Asked for sausage and Waffle.
The waffles story of smells on the wall are fake. They actually pre-make the waffles who knows how many days before. They actually pull them out of a cold cooler then REHEAT the waffle. So any freshness, smells of the supposed famous Belgium waffle, is long gone in a cooler days before when they actually made the waffles
The large sausage was deep fried and so burnt. She left it in fryer way too long helping others maybe?
Anyhow. Skin was black and inside of sausage was dry and oil dripping everywhere.
The most horrible $12 breakfast of my life. And I am past 50 yrs old.

That is saying a lot. This REHEAT business is a flop and DONT RECOMMEND you wasting your money.

I’ve had much better eating cheap frozen Leggo’s waffles. That is what this is. Cold reheat and burnt sausage. The only tasty part was the Syrup that was pre packaged brands. If you ever eat in Belgium they make their own mix, bake it fresh and DONT USE ‘smucker’s’ brand cheap syrup. They make their own too.
Bottom line… $3 dollar breakfast that I paid $12. Better off stopping at grocery store and go to frozen section and pick up a box of sausage links and Leggo’s. It would taste so much better.

Really disappointed. Loved Bruges down in Provo, but here the fries were on the menu at $5 but on the kiosk at $6, but hey they give you a bunch, right? Wrong, very disappointed at the number of fries (shown in their entirety in the picture). Also got the $10 waffle with cream and berries, and it was tiny and nothing like the picture or what we used to get in Provo. Was a huge letdown and won’t be doing that again.

The fries are like the Burger King fries with batter and all. Not even remotely close to Frites from Belgium. I should have known there is no connection whatsoever to België when they did not even offer mayo as side.

The cute wall paintings and picture of fries in a bag…. Misleading and nowhere to be found.

Be forewarned when you are about to spend $5 for some BK fries at the airport. Just keep walking.

Edit: I had also complained to the company, and they did later offer a refund if I submitted the receipt (I just left it alone).
But kudos for responding and the willingness to appease the customer, so that part is good!
