I really enjoyed the food and being big on sports it was a great experience. My girlfriend and I went to eat there she had the filet mignon that was cooked at medium well and she got exactly that. So tender and juicy and full of flavor. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich that had a sweet spicy kick to it. The appetizer we had was the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp that was phenomenal. Everything was cooked perfectly . I recommend this place to everyone not just sports fans. So go in and order what they have because they have no menu you can make a dish up and if they have it they will make it. Pretty cool!!!

One of my favorite places to have visited ever. If you like the movie, Major League, even better.
There’s food in a deli case; tell them how you want it cooked.
Let your eyes feast all around. Let your face smile from the bartender making you life. Place makes me want to live.

Don’t order the pasta but everything else is delicious. First time the scampi was a little cold but came back alright after adding salt and pepper.
Bacon wrapped shrimp and wings were phenomenal. Lobster roll was also very good

What a wonderful experience. The place is loaded with sports memorbilia, and the staff is great. The food is made to your order. They have traditional bar food like burgers, chicken tenders and fries, but they also have deli case filled with meats for you to choose from and the chef will make what you would like. They have great “suggestion ” menus, but the choice is truly yours. I highly recommend this place if you want a very unique experience.

My husband came home from work and told me he wanted to take me out. He said to dress up and wear makeup because we were going somewhere nice. I was excited!
When we got to 4th Base, I wasn’t sure what to think. From the outside, it didn’t look like much, and inside, it felt like a mix between a dive bar and a sports pub. I started wondering why I had dressed up. lol…
But the food was a great surprise! Everything is made-to-order, and you order by talking to the cooks instead of picking from a menu. I chose a filet from the fresh meat and seafood display with sautéed onions and peppers.
For an appetizer, we had bacon-wrapped scallops–they were amazing and cooked perfectly! My husband got pan-fried perch with steamed veggies, and it was so good I ate some of his too.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
The only downside is that all the seating is barstools and high-top tables. I’d love to bring my mom, especially since she loves fish fry, but she needs a lower chair or bench, which they don’t have. She is ADA.
Overall, I’d definitely go back for another 4th Base experience.

Food was overpriced, and it took 45 min for our appetizer to be served. The server was great but the lack of a real menu with prices and a random case we could look in while everything was a la carte was more frustrating than charming. Food tasted good at least considering how expensive it was.

I have heard so many great things about 4th Base so my friend and I stopped in to see for ourselves. I was blown away by the Sports Memorabilia! Every square inch of the walls, ceilings and cabinets are covered with amazing photos, jerseys, cards and everything sports. It’s a literal Sports Museum with great Food and Drinks! The Staff was very accommodating especially Savanna our bartender. We are definately returning to sample some of the amazing food selections that they offer.

The experience feels like a “choose your own adventure” book. You can have them make something from what’s in their deli case (scallops, shrimp, steaks, crab stuffed mushrooms). Or you can order from what seems like a pretty typical bar menu (burgers, sandwiches, wings). We went with one of each, a Sicilian steak and a fish fry. Both were excellent. The fish fry, in particular, was among the best in a city known for fish fries. Service was friendly and attentive (thanks, Jelly). And the 90s hip hop soundtrack was super fun (thanks, Wu Tang Clan).

This is a very unique place. Friendly staff seems like a place locals go but I had never been there and they treated me like a regular. No menu. They have an amazing selection of food and a great chef. They have a meat counter with everything that is available in it. Steaks, seafood, veggies all top end stuff. Everything looked good. You pick what you want and they cook it how you like. I had a very large scallop that was bacon wrapped and seared. Delicious. I had the soup of the day which was clam chowder but I swear there was lobster in it. (They had fresh lobster in the counter) I finished with the onion strings and sautéed perch. Everything was very good. I almost returned the next day for dinner but I wanted to try another restaurant. I forgot to take a picture of the perch. I have a pic of the huge scallop plus you can see them in meat counter

Their food is always super fresh and delicious! The staff is so friendly and I swear they remember everyone that walks through their door! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
*Updating a year or so later and it’s definitely my favorite bar/restaurant. CJ, Andy and the rest of the crew are so friendly and fun to talk to. Probably the only place I never get tired of going to!
