I came into town to visit my friend in West Orange. We decided to order Chinese food. We ordered spareribs and pork fried rice. I ordered beef and broccoli and sour hot and sour soup. The food was horrible. There was no flavor and the spare ribs We’re horrible after I ate my food, I didn’t feel good. I felt sick to my stomach so the next morning I went back up there and spoke to the lady that takes the orders and I told her how I felt and she said I don’t care. Do yourself a favor don’t go to that restaurant. The service is horrible. The food is horrible and it’s very expensive.

The food is not horrible but the service is. I work a block away from restaurant so i order there quite often. This is today’s rib. Extra fatty and extra burnt. My co-worker’s fried shrimp was fried extra hard. Extremely dry. The delivery driver demands tips. We have complained in the past. I guess this is their way of getting us back. PICK UP so u can check your food. They’re a hit or miss! Good luck!

My mom & I had a taste for CF the Saturday before Xmas & was recommended this place by my sister & her husband that lives in West Orange. The place was easy to find, the restaurant was extremely clean, the woman that took our order was so pleasant. The food, Chefs kiss✨ the food was absolutely delicious. We were not disappointed by far. Everything was so good but I must say that the fried rice was the Best I’ve had in my life I can say. The pork fried rice was buttery without being greasy. I Highly recommend this place and will drive all the way from my home in East Orange to Verona just eat from this place when I’m ready for CF again! Love love love the food! I can’t say enough how delighted we were! Thank you for such a satisfying experience ✨

Verona Chinese Kitchen has been our go-to for years!! Everything from Hot and Sour soup to Chicken with Garlic and Eggplant or Butterfly Shrimp, is delicious. Crab Rangoon a hit, especially with the sauce. Not every Chinese take out or sit – in gives the sauce. Service is always very friendly, either in person or over the phone. Quick take out, reliable, and fast delivery. They are super busy, which is great, because we want them to be around a long time!!

We often order from Verona Chinese Kitchen, delivery only. Deliveries are prompt. I really like their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Chicken with Cashew Nuts. My husband enjoys their Beef with Snowpeas, and Shrimp Toast. We sometimes order their soups, especially the Hot and Sour soup and Wonton soup, but ask for modifications as my husband has certain tolerances. They are very accommodating, everything arrives as ordered. The service is friendly, professional, and our orders are read back for clear communication, which is much appreciated as I am hard of hearing.

That lady is very Nasty. I only order 2 shrimp rolls. today I notice it was burnt and the middle is cold. She was mad that she had to give me a refund I bit both to check. she asked me if I wanted then heated up. How??? They will be deep fried but I ate it. She didn’t offer to give 2 fresh ones she said to me don’t order here no more.I’m ok with that. She doesn’t deserve any business.

I was inspired to write this review because I just finished an utterly delicious meal, one of the chef’s specials: sautéed jumbo shrimp with scallions and ginger. I had it with brown rice. I am rarely happy with my meal when my family orders Chinese takeout. Tonight was the exception. There were at least 10 perfectly cooked- not rubbery- jumbo shrimp in a tasty sauce that was just right- not mild, not overpowering. The vegetables were delicious too. All hot and fresh and delivered in 20 minutes (they said half an hour) from our call.

We LOVE Verona Chinese Kitchen! Had our staples- crab Rangoon with their delicious, savory red dipping sauce, steamed pork dumplings, sweet and sour chicken also with super yummy red dipping sauce. So friendly, accommodating and quickly served. Thank you Verona Chinese Kitchen!
