The Elevator and Airplane Finder
As an avid Canes aficionado, it became clear I needed to go to a location on opening day. And that’s exactly what I did when Greenwood’s first location opened its doors on Dec. 11!
Stopped by at about 10:30 AM (30 minutes after the opening ceremony) and it was pretty chaotic. The drive thru already had about 30 cars in line so I reluctantly decided to get in that line. But then an employee said there was no wait inside as I got halfway through and told me I should park at that exact moment! So I did just that.
Getting inside, it was a wild scene but I got my order placed immediately and my food was ready in just 2 min!
As always, the box combo hits the spot. The chicken was hot and fresh, fries were crispy, the toast was perfect, and the sauce is as always addictive.
All around, a fantastic start to a new era for Greenwood being the 5th location to open in the Indianapolis area. I’ll as always be back!

I’m so happy that I don’t have to drive all the way to Avon just to get some chicken tenders.
I am so happy that there is a location here now and honestly some of the better service I’ve received (I work in the food industry).
Last night when I came there around 11:30 pm, I was warmly welcomed and the place wasn’t as busy, which was nice because I was getting off of work and didn’t really want to wait a long time, the person who took my order repeated the order back to me to make sure it was all correct, the food was fantastic, the Caniac combo hits the spot, the atmosphere was amazing, I love the disco balls. At the end of my meal, another employee asked to take my trash and that kinda made my day because I’ve been dealing with some rude people all day and I was ready to just go home and sleep. The only thing I noticed was that parking was limited but I’m assuming that that’s just for now and later on we’ll have more parking.
Just to sum it all up, I really enjoy canes and might be my new lunch spot over Zaxbys.

Food is okay. I ordered a box combo and the chicken was surprisingly small for the price. But that’s not what my review is for. The girl at the register was very sweet. A high school girl you can tell. Alot of them are young. And much kinder than their bosses. I absolutely did NOT like the way their manager was speaking to the employees and other managers i’m assuming. I assume she thought customers can’t hear into the kitchen. According to the girl at the register, her name was Marley. Not sure if I am spelling that right. Very rude and stressful it seems. Doesn’t know how to properly speak to these children and other staff members. I would not want my daughter working in an environment like this and they are obsessed with the food here. The managers need to be setting the appropriate example in front of children and she was doing the opposite. Speak to others the way you would want to be spoken to.

Need to do something to make drive thru more efficient and actually utilize the second lane to the right and keep things moving. Fries don’t hold up great when doing take out or drive thru but what do you expect for fries when you aren’t eating them immediately. Chicken is good. Utilizing the first window would help expedite the line a little bit since you guys aren’t even using the second drive thru lane. Also window lady almost didn’t give me my credit card I had to ask after I received my food where my card was.

Ive been to this canes two separate times, both of which my tea(the first time I went) and lemonade(the second time) tasted like creek water and I had someone else confim it does as well. The second time I went I only got two orders of fries, two breads and two drinks and it was $16. I just feel like its overpriced for the little amount you get and the obvious issue with whatever water they use for their drinks.fries and sauce are 10/10 but everything else isn’t worth it

The chicken is tender and delicious as was the house sauce. The only negative here is the capacity. There are not very many parking spaces available nor is there adequate seating inside. People were waiting inside after ordering to get a seat. Then there was a long line at the drive thru. Yes, the food is very good, but you may have order takeout due to the lack of space.

Ordered big box got 4 of the tiniest tenders I’ve ever seen watered down honey mustard sauce, after seeing people online eat and review there massive tenders was a big let down.
Cane’s sauce was good but not any real flavor in stripes with out it. Fries were well salted and slaw was good.
