I was craving pupusas and was looking around for a new spot since all the ones around the south bay area are so so or haven’t been so good. I called ahead to place my order. I ordered about 15 pupusas. When I arrived I checked in the counter and was given a 15 minute ETA for completion but i ended up getting my food in 10min. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised my pupusas were neatly packaged and were wrapped individually so they wouldn’t get stuck to each other. The pupusas looked and smelled great. They were a little on the greesier side but I don’t mind. I am usually not optimistic about the curtido (not sure if that’s how you spell it lol) and the red sauce but let me tell you it was fire .. they were both done right and the Lemus restaurant was not stingy with the amount they gave out. The revueltas were really good and had a good mix of stuffing inside they were not stingy. The bean and cheese were also good and really cheesey my kids loved them. I will definitely be coming back for some more.

I don’t Know where to begin , well the service was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life. We waited so long for our food to be served. Finally when the food came it was the worst , everything taste awful ,old and disgusting . Coincidence , very next day my wife ask me if I had diarrhea in which I did . So please be very careful when you eat here…. I truly do not recommend. There is other good Salvadorian restaurants elsewhere but this place being so close to our house thought it was going to be a good Idea…..Wrong !!!!

Came in today. I am a regular customer here..
Today I had order the fish soup bowl that has the eggs and shrimp and my girlfriend ordered the beef soup..
The beef soup was fine , but unfortunately the fish , shrimp , with 2 eggs soup bowl was watered down..
I asked the for the soup to be replaced with a beef soup.
The server advised me that it could not be replaced only with he Same dish..
I told her this was the first time I had been told that the dish cannot be replaced since the other dis that I had ordered was unsatisfactory.
The server said it was restaurant policy..
I had never heard this before that restaurants are not allowed to replaced one dish for the other..
I would advise the restaurant to put policies on the table or on the walls or where is visible.

Also as my girlfriend was eating she found a plastic wrap in her soup..
Also servers were not aware of customer needs such as refills on cofee..
Also the part of the ceiling is tearing..most of the particles of this ceiling is falling in the food..
Who’s is hazard to food and poisoning
I hope this does not fall on someone and the owner get a lawsuit.
This restaurant needs a holiness number to call the operators of the restaurant.
Health inspection is necessary at this location.

Great Pupusas, although bad service. Orders are never on time expect to wait at lease another 20 min off expected pickup time. Gave them plenty of chances. Never again!

The service was great! However, the Carne asada that we order was horrible. The meat was over season, not cooked well, and the meat was to thic to eat. Honestly. First time I don’t finished an asada plate. The next day, our stomach was hurting.

My friend and I were craving pupusas & decided to try this place. It did not disappoint! The pupusas were perfectly cooked, flavorful, & filling. We had 2 each & and shared an order of fried plantains with cream & and beans, which were also delicious. We were so full but couldn’t stop eating as it was so good! We will definitely be back to try other menu items. The table looked clean but seemed a little sticky. Next time, I’ll just ask for it to be wiped down again.
