Formerly a super tiny one-barrel nano brewery, we’ve evolved into a hub for music lovers and pizza enthusiasts alike. We’re no longer brewing in house, but our roots are in the art of brewing, where we focused on small-batch, hand-crafted beers & seltzers full of bold flavors and creativity. Now, with a different focus, we’ve expanded our offerings to include some of the best pizza in town. Still small batch, made by hand from scratch. Come catch a show, grab a drink (non-alcoholic or not) and a slice. We’re truly a unique experience in CDA. But keep in mind, if you’re looking for fast and cheap – we aren’t your jam.

We love Black Lodge and the people there! We often go for trivia night on Thursdays and it’s such a fun, festive atmosphere and great food. Excellent pizzas and salads and it’s just a friendly, local vibe with welcoming staff. Because of that experience, we chose to host a special event there (big 50th birthday party) and I would HIGHLY recommend them for a special event. They said YES to everything we asked. They were organized, professional, great communicators, extremely easy to work with, and very reasonably priced. They will allow you to bring in outside food, a DJ, decorations, whatever you need to make your event special. It would be great for a corporate or office event as well. It feels good to support a local, homegrown business and the atmosphere is unique, distinctive, and memorable.

We had the tomato soup. The flavor was great! A little thicker than I’m used to, but it paired fantastically with the pretzel which was delicious! I had the “Huck Yea” pizza which was tasty. Make sure to give yourself a little extra time if it’s busy, food did take a little bit to come out.

We tried the seasonal/special pizza, which was peach based. Sounds weird. Was incredible! Didn’t have any other food, but if it’s on par with that pizza, I’m in. The beer selection is all small batch or local, which actually meant that I didn’t find the perfect one I was looking for that day, but was still fine, and I absolutely love the idea. Overall 4.51/5. Sounded like they have live music regularly. Will def spend some morethey have love

Love this place! Subtle Twin Peaks vibes, friendly service, good pizza. We got the Thai tofu and veggie Hawaiian—delish. I also recommend the dough knots with (vegan) pesto! Great for vegetarian and vegan folks. Live music was good too. Looks like they have cool events. Will be back the next time we’re in town.

Found this little gem on vacation and it was awesome. The brewer & beertender were the absolute best. An all women owned and operated brewery, located right in the heart of town. The unique beer styles are outstanding. The owner seemed to really take pride and enjoy visiting with customers about her creations. The food offered was delicious and the prices were reasonable as well. They even have a kid’s menu. It’s a very chill spot to hang out and spend time in. I felt very welcome and will definitely be returning on my next trip. If you like small batch and unique beers, this is your place.

Really good, unusual beer selections. Love the 20.00 flight option. Calzone was good and liked the meatless options (basil vegetable bowl and Thai peanut salad) Good service, cool vibe. Will come back for music. Follow up: on a recent visit food was horrible. Chicken tenders horrible, half ass charcuterie plate: atrocious with rotten tomatoes, plain mozzarella cheese, pickle slices?, mediocre pepperoni, generic salami and packaged mini carrots. Meal was bad and actually embarrassing as I brought my wife for first time. Our salads were ok, vegetable saute/bowl (had it previously) was not particularly good and gave me a bad stomach. Service mediocre compared to first two visits. Very disappointed.

Had never heard of this place, so we decided to check it out. Laid back atmosphere and great knowledgeable staff. They each checked in on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. The bourbon bacon paired nicely with the pretzel. If you are in the area you should definitely swing by.
