Taco Tuesday is a good value, any two tacos for $5. Otherwise, the food can be a bit pricey, but the quality is above average for fast food. Our crunchy chicken tacos were very fresh and flavorful, and the salsa choices exceeded our expectations.

They completely skimp you on food yet prices have gone up avoid in my opinion. I have ordered catering from their Glendale location for years and no complaints. This location the food was horrible. It’s cafeteria level at best, biggest disappointment outside of the watered down Mac n cheese were the chips. Those use to be iconic now old and tasteless

I bought the double chicken tostada for the sliced avocado. Are they really using yesterday’s avocado and their salads for today? Disgusting.
Tell your employees. If it’s gross and they wouldn’t eat it then they shouldn’t serve it. If you don’t want pictures like this on your Google, then make sure you don’t produce food that looks like this.

I love El Pollo Loco and only write a review like this if I feel it is warranted. So tonight I went there to use my 20% off digital coupon, only to learn the system was not recognizing them, no big deal, I order anyway. It took a bit to order because the girl taking orders at the counter seemed to be struggling with the order she was taking. Then the girl working drive thru came over to help and had the other girl take my order, she had a hard time hearing me because both girls seemed to be focused on the other order, laughing and looking at the screen in amazement. I honestly don’t know what was so amazing about the order before mine but neither one of them seemed to be focused on orders but instead on playing around. So I got my order and left only to realize when I got home that I had no tortillas. I was very disappointed by that. Don’t get me wrong, great to have fun at work but when customers are present, tone it down a bit and focus because playing around at work should never be the reason for missing something in a customer’s order. My visit was @ 9:10PM

Ordered pozole & shredded beef and chicken grillers. Pozole is packed with flavor, loaded with chicken, hominy and fresh home made ingredients. It was a little on the spicy side for my taste buds but remarkably delicious. I could taste the tomatillos, garlic, onions, and chiles. They forgot the lime but it’s all good. The burrito grillers came with a side a dipping red sauce. The heat was mild and house flavors noted. I recommend not ordering the chicken as it’s dry. Overall great experience! Friendly & clean establishment.

Always wanted to try this place so I did last night 12/11/25, I ordered the Chipotle chicken burrito and it was literally all rice, after a few bites I opened it and counted less than 10 beans, 4 tiny pieces of chicken and a small spoonful of guacamole in the middle only. This thing cost me 10$ I wish I had taken a picture. for this review but I didnt think that far ahead. I would not recommend eating here unless you enjoy wasting your money on cheap rice. I will never go to an El pollo loco ever again
I havent gotten a response from them other than them trying to call me personally which would hide their response without proof to show here. Its completely inappropriate in my opinion to call them out here and get phone calls from the people that work at that location who screwed me over and not a response from the company itself. I dont want to talk to the people who are cheating others I want a response from cooperate. They woke me up with their call at 8:12am long before they open
I will also say I was advised against going here when I asked people I work with but thought i would form my own opinion and they were 200% right
