Black owned salad bar. They have super fresh ingredients and the place is so cute. They were out of salmon when I just went so my Kale Caesar wasn’t like how I usually get it but it was still good with the shrimp. You can build your own salad or choose 1 of five to six options on the menu. Love when black ppl do great things and this sister brother duo did a good job.

This is an answered prayer and I’m excited! This area has way too many fast food and other unhealthy food options and so this Greenbar is much needed for Fort Washington. Since I frequently buy kale and spinach with good intentions, but rarely/never use, I don’t mind paying for and eating a Greenbar salad instead, LOL. I’ve been twice (ordered online for pick-up) and the staff are super friendly and the salad is really good. I’m so happy I don’t have to plan a trip to Alexandria to get a good salad anymore.

So…..I won’t be returning here again. Went back today for the second time in less than a month. The first time I went, I had to call out to a worker to serve me. No one was at the front. I had heard good reviews about their citrus salmon bowl and wanted to try it out. The food was delicious, but the environment, while aesthetically pleasing, was not warm and inviting.
Today, I walk in…same thing happens. I had to call out to a server. She walks out to the front with this irritated look like I was interrupting her. I asked her for the same salad. She tells me she is making it now and it will take 10 to 15 minutes.
If this is a popular dish, why isn’t it already prepared and ready to go. It’s 1:20pm.
Another customer walks in, he has to call to her multiple times so that he can pick up his order. When she finally emerges, she has an attitude and shoves the bag to him. The man looks at her in disbelief and walks out.
That interaction was enough to make me leave. Please do better. Also, why are cleaning products hanging on the door?
For the amount of money customers spend here, I expect better customer service.
I ended up going to Silvestre’s Chicken. The service was like night and day. They were attentive and earned my business.

I really enjoyed the bowl I got from Greenbar. Everything was fresh and packaged great for transport home.I really hope to see a green juice pop up on the menu soon. I walked in and was disappointed. Nevertheless, what I saw and received was good. I hope this business sticks around. Its well needed in the Fort Washington area.

I just moved to this area so I was delighted to see a healthy option so close to home. The atmosphere is very nice. The service could have been better especially after expressing I was a first timer. The salad was delicious but waaayyyy too pricey. I knew I was being robbed when I got charged extra for cheese. My bowl was $21.47. It’s the only reason I can not return. Imagine if I was trying to feed my whole family! (a salad)

Delicious and beautiful, but pricey! To be expected for eating healthy however I don’t think they give you enough dressing for your bowl and extra dressing is 75 cents per container. The staff was really friendly and I love that there’s somewhere healthy to eat in the plaza now!

Wow! Finally a healthy, delicious & affordable meal option that isn’t fried, dyed & laid to the side lol. But for real, the bowls here were really good, great portions and the customer service was amazing. Also this is a black-owned local spot catered to bring healthy food to the area which we all need! I will be back several times, definitely worth a try!

Let me first say, I’m so happy we finally have a salad bar option in the area. I’m also excited that the food is actually fresh. I ordered online for my family, so I was able to taste 3 different bowls/salads. I will def be back regularly. Also, for them to just have opened, I couldn’t tell at all. Customer service was pretty good and the ordering process was easy.
