Very good value. Average setting a bit noisy. They have a small terrace for warm days. A very small bar two seats. Had the artichoke and oysters for starters. Sole, Red Snapper and Veal Paillard. All was very good and the Tiramisu to share.

Was not expecting it to be as good as it was, but was absolutely blown away. The goat cheese dumpling app was phenomenal. The chicken scarpareillo made me want to kiss the chef. So lemony, so spicy, absolutely perfect. One of the best meals I’ve had since moving to the east coast. Will be back for sure.

Everything we ordered was excellent. I especially liked the mushroom ravioli and the apple tart dessert, which the waiter recommended. One person in our party of 4 has a number of dietary restrictions and the waiter and chef could not have been more gracious in accommodating, making him a meal not on the menu without hesitation. Although they have a full bar, you can bring your own wine, which i would not have known if the other couple dining with us had not told us. My only negative comment is that the interior of the restaurant feels basic and almost a bit like a cafe rather than the nice restaurant that it is.

We wanted to try a new spot and this restaurant did not disappoint! It was a Tuesday night so it was light on customers but the staff were great. I had an appetizer that I’ve never had before (wontons stuffed with potatoes in a tasty sauce). That alone will have me coming back! Our entrées were very good as well and dessert topped it off nicely. The bread was soft and the dip for it was very good too. We will be back again and again, guaranteed .

We stopped at this establishment for a bite to eat at the request of one of our friends.
We can say it was delicious, the service was great and the setting in the restaurant was very modern and we enjoyed ourselves. The attention to detail with their meals was on point.
The only complaint would be larger portions, but in this economy it is understandable
Well done

I hate that I have to give three stars for food this time. We had a party of 4 and two of our entrees were pretty awful. The chicken was undercooked and we both left quite a bit. When you are eating together no one wants to be that person that sends back a meal and has to watch everyone else eat while they wait to have their meal recooked. Then you eat alone while they all wait. It’s just two awkward. I will go back again because the waitstaff is awesome, it’s a cute place and a nice restaurant. However that said. I will likely never order chicken there again. The company we were with was great so it wasn’t total loss. We spent $283. The chicken should have been spectacular. Just sayin.

The owner/host was lovely. Went to meet a large group of friends, and the service was friendly and prompt and attentive. We had several different small plates, and everything was delicious…I only got a pic of the beet salad on endive, but all the plates were beautiful. The outdoor seating was beautiful, and thankfully the privacy fence allowed you to forget that that you were in the parking lot.

I discovered this place by accident. Great restaurant. Food exceptional. Service impeccable. Beautiful veranda. You definetely owe a visit to this restaurant at the border of NY State and Connecticut. Do not need to go to Manhattan anymore for a quality restaurant. Happiness is near you!

My boyfriend and I went to dinner at Capers two weeks ago and it was incredible. If you’re looking for a place that has it all, this is it!! Delicious cocktails, great food, amazing service, and cozy ambiance. Our waiter was the manager and he was incredible. William made sure we were comfortable with the heater outside. All surfaces were sanitized. He made delicious recommendations and was very knowledgeable. We could have stayed and talked to him for the rest of the night. He was just such a nice guy. We had 2 Martini’s, the Tuna tartare, Salmon, Chicken Scarpariello over Linguine and an apple turnover for dessert — AMAZING. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. At the end of the night the manager made us two complimentary espresso Martini’s. I usually don’t like espresso Martini’s but WOW. This was really the best and perhaps may be my new favorite cocktail. This was for sure a five star meal without the five star price. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you, William for such a great experience!!!

Atmosphere was okay nothing special. The prices were extremely high for mediocre food. We ordered the paella and the rice was undercooked.. Very disappointed, some of my seafood in the paella did not taste fresh. If I’m going to spend $35 on dish of paella I expect the food to be delicious. For it to be fresh and cooked perfectly. The waitress kept taking my drink before I even finished it. I thought that was quite irritating. I had to keep my hand on the drink. Sorry but for those prices I expect ambience, better quality staff and most importantly excellent food. The worst thing is we left hungry!
