Very small place but savior from the sun on a hot day on the bikes. Its a little off the trail but the bartender/ owner was very nice. Drinks were strong. Complimentary chips out on tables for guests during happy hour. VERY cold AC especially in the back room with the pool table. Patio was very nice. Not covered but umbrellas at each table. Will be back

Mudder’s doesn’t look like much from the outside, but I can guarantee it’s warm on the inside. Miss Amy is your host and owner, and they don’t come better than her. The locals are what you would expect from the fly-over part of the country. Kind, friendly, respectful, and All American. This is a must stop place if you’re passing through the middle of Iowa.

I was there for a surprise Birthday Party. The place seemed too small for a party, which the whole town was invited to, but, it worked. The 80 year old birthday boy was speechless when surrounded by his out of town family members and numerous friends.
