Welcome to Streats Marlborough Kitchen, located at 150 52 Street NE, Unit #10. We’re a new addition to your neighbourhood and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the community! At Streats we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. Using fresh ingredients, doing everything from slow cooking beef in house, creating our own sauces, to making salsa from scratch. Decided to try this place for the first time and it will definitely be the last. Ordered garlic shrimp fries to go. They were supposed to be fries, Cajun shrimp, garlic aioli, green onions, and shredded cheese. When I got home and opened it I discovered they had given me just fries, aioli, and plain shrimp. No green onions, no cheese, and that shrimp had been nowhere near even a whisper of Cajun seasoning.

We tried this place just on a whim and we were thoroughly satisfied. One reflection was even that compared to other “burrito” places, this place offers a much more flavourful mix of ingredients and sauces than other places we’ve tried. Further, as a vegan, franchises don’t always cater to my dietary preferences. The owner, Raj, was fantastic and very accommodating. He prepared a special-order burrito bowl for me with breaded and seasoned cauliflower that was wonderfully tasty. It was just the right size for a comfortable meal and the different ingredients (i.e. rice, beans, and vegetables) were very nicely balanced. Also, the location was very welcoming and has a seating area where you can even sit in a more private booth, if you prefer. The space was clean and hospitable. Finally, the owner is VERY engaging and even joined us table-side to chat for pretty much an hour.
I’m confident you’ll be quite satisfied with your meal if you were to visit this location, tucked in the corner of the strip mall on 52nd Street and Memorial Drive.

I’m not a big fan of leaving negative reviews on smaller businesses, but this experience absolutely needs to be addressed.
I came in with a group of friends earlier this month. One friend had recommended Streats based on a good experience at the Beltline location. Due to poor weather, we stayed nearby and tried the Streats Kitchen Marlborough, expecting the food quality to be the same – it was not.
Across our group, we ordered smash burgers, burritos, poutine, Nashville loaded fries, and gochujang fries. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing across the board.
The loaded fries I ordered were especially bad. The chicken looked like regular frozen chicken nuggets chopped up and tossed into a bowl. The fries were dry, the entire dish lacked flavour, and it honestly felt like something I could make at home with the most basic ingredients. For the price being charged, this was unacceptable.
Friends who ordered the smash burgers had similar issues; the meat tasted off and had a very strange texture, to the point where it felt sketchy to eat. The burritos were also bland, and again the chicken had an odd taste and feel.
Overall, this was a terrible experience. The pricing is ridiculous for the extremely poor food quality. I will not be recommending this location to anyone, and this was honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in Calgary.

I have been to every other streats location and they are all excellent except for this one, the food here was smaller portions, they didn’t have many items we asked about, they were not licensed, i will not return.

Called the Restaurant 4 times no answer. Went into the store to find 3 employees. They said they answered but no one was there. NOT True. Order only two fries one mini poutine and a basic fries. Tasted like they dumped the entire salt shaker in the fries, they are not edible. And the mini poutine has basically one cheese curd. And taste like salt not edible.

Riddhi suggested the gochujang chicken and the baja fish street tacos and I made it into a combo with a mini poutine and coke. She is a true artist! The tacos were absolutely delicious with loads of fresh toppings carefully placed and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, while the poutine was piping hot with lots of gravy and cheese curds. I would definitely come back!

Food is pretty good, the donairs are not traditional though. The service is awful and they fight us on spending gift cards. This is the second time. They try to explain math as if we don’t know simple addtion. It even went as far as them making us call head office. We got what we orded after 30 mins of them fighting us. We will not be returning and are advising all our local friends the same.

I’ve come here several times and had fantastic service, and wonderful food. Shital was great to chat with and did a really good job on my meal. My only complaint is the dining room needs some music. It feels quiet in there. Otherwise, 10/10
