So I just discovered The Bandits’ Smoke Shack. Dominick told me they’ve been open just over 3 years. Thanks a lot Google! They have never came up in my searches for food. This place was beyond AMAZING! I’ve had other BLT sandwiches but this one was the best ( so far ). The bacon was perfectly done and not salty. The bread, tomatoes on top and bottom and the amount of bacon made this sandwich so enjoyable. A little shredded lettuce and a nice light sauce. This BLT stayed together without even trying. Easy to eat. Pizza Puff was perfectly done. Fantastic experience!! I will be back soon for the Ribs! Thank you to everyone at Bandits’!!

What a hidden gem! When my significant other said he found a place we could go get food… bc I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat He said: “Let’s go check out this place.” The closer we got to the place… I was like where the hell are you taking us? House bar/ restaurant. We ordered two brisket sandwiches, a basket of fries, and a lemonade. The fries tasted a little burnt, but the sandwich made up for them because it was so damn delicious . Service was sort of slow, but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend checking it out. Byeeee!

I can’t say enough good things about The Bandits’ Smoke Shack! They’re not just a great place for food; they’re an amazing group of people. I had a minor issue on a previous visit and they told me to come back, and they absolutely kept their word. They hooked me up with a free order of fries, and wow—I was not disappointed. They were perfectly crispy, seasoned, and tasted incredible. It’s rare to find a place with such amazing food and even better customer service. Big props to the whole team!

Had the pleasure of eating here twice in a 24hr period, came here on lunch because I’d been wanting to try it, got a brisket sandwich, smash burger, Mac n cheese, and beans, brought it all back to my work to share and see what it was about. So about 4-5 people shared all that food and everyone loved it! Next day I guess everyone decided thats what they wanted for lunch, got a few brisket sandwiches, a burger, a pulled pork sandwich, Mac n cheese, corn fritters, and fries. We were all very pleased! Will definitely be returning and making it a frequent stop. Haven’t been disappointed by anything on the menu.

My kid loved the BBQ food here! This small shack is a hidden gem for BBQ lovers. However, be prepared to arrive early, as they seem to sell out quickly. We visited a bit later and ended up with leftovers, which were still delicious!
The food was clearly a hit with my kid, and the BBQ flavors were spot on. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend getting there early to avoid disappointment. Worth a try for BBQ fans!

Best BBQ around the area. You will be so happy you tried it. Most stuff they make is house made. Wish I lived closer, would come here multiple times a week. Smoked chicken was amazing , brisket had great flavor. The sauces were amazing. Wish I could buy a gallon worth of the candied jalapenos. Dont let the location fool you, this place is better than an expensive sit down restaurant. GIVE IT A TRY.

The food was very good and we enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables. We had gone to try the pulled pork and they were out, but the brisket was nice. I enjoyed the chicken tacos and I added on the pickled red onions. We will have to go again to try the pulled pork.

Fox lake’s hidden jewel. The smoked meats, the brisket tacos and especially the smash burgers are all delicious and everything else on the menu is simply amazing and made fresh with pride everyday. Highly recommend 10/10

Ordered 3 brisket and 3 pulled pork tacos, and I was not disappointed! Excellent quality ingredients, great taste, hefty meat portions, and you can’t beat the cost!! I’ll absolutely be going back again.

Found this great little place just behind Dwight Bar off frontage road. People were nice and food was amazing. We had the brisket tacos. Absolutely 100% a must! They do take credit card. Looks like they are building a stage for bands, they have a nice fire pit with chairs and several picnic benches to sit around

Best brisket tacos I have ever had the green sauce is mild and the red sauce was just a little hotter, I would also call mild.
Also the smash burgers are fresh and outsanding I come at least once sometimes more a week.
The fries and fresh cut double fried, so good.!!!
