I was listening to the radio and heard Wayne talking about the lunch box and I took it as a sign to try it out. I ordered off door dash, the bag came closed well. I ordered the beef dog, side salad and tots. The food was so good you can tell the salad is fresh and so is the rest of the food, it was so good I couldn’t get any pictures first definitely would try it again

This used to be my go to place for a yummy cheeseburger as i haven’t ate here in over 3 months and decided to have a burger today well I was very disappointed the bun was the cheapest you can buy the patty was a basic frozen patty. What happen Wayne your burgers use to be on point. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for a juicy burger do better

We ordered a burger, a grilled pimento cheese sandwich and potato wedges. The burger was a very nice cooked size and very tasty. The cheese sandwich was made on Texas Toast and quite delightful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by how much food there is to choose from. Don’t let the name fool you, you can get a burger and fries, but there’s plates and sides to choose from with a whole host of fixins.
I got a burger with your standard affair, lettuce, tomato, and all that, but also mushrooms, pulled bbq, and fried egg! This thing was great, stacked up tall and juicy like a burger should be.
If your in town and looking for bite to eat, definitely stop in and give the place a try, the food and folks here are wonderful!

Used to have great food. Just ordered the hamburger steak plate, these are frozen hamburger paddies, from God knows where. And no gravy anywhere to be seen. Fried okra cold and soft.
Big disappointment.

Many of the restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays. It worked out in my favor, as I discovered this gem. Exceptional service, where every local was greeted by name, and all “visitors” were treated like new neighbors. It was busy, but I received my order in about 8-10 minutes. Food was made fresh, cooked perfectly, and was an incredible value for the money spent. Large rotating menu, good portions, and great taste for <$10. I work in the area often, and will make Wayne’s my go to lunch destination moving forward!

Happened to be passing through and was looking for a good burger… Wayne’s doesn’t do burgers any more, but I was VERY excited to find out that they have switched over to more of a meat n’ three type place.
I got the hamburger steak with brown gravy, fried okra, green beans, pintos and a sweet tea.
As someone that grew up eating the meat n’ three style of food, I am very thankful that I stumbled upon this place! Everything was top notch and cooked the ‘country’ way, even the sweet tea was just right!
Only negative is that Wayne and his family are all Clemson fans, and that’s only because I am a Gamecock lol! In all seriousness, everyone was very kind and served up some fantastic food!

Wayne catered my wedding this past weekend on 10/28/2023. When we would visit the town to wedding plan, we would stop by the lunch box and get food! The hamburger steak we tried before was amazing! All of his food is always great when we have stopped to eat! At the wedding we had steak tips, seasoned baked chicken, baked potatoes, salad, mac & cheese, and rolls for reception dinner! We had groundhog dip, meatballs, and all of the finger foods you can imagine! The food was absolutely amazing and super fresh! Everything tasted extremely great! Everyone at the wedding complimented how wonderful the food was! Wayne works very hard to make sure the people he works with are happy! He builds an amazing relationship with his customers! Wayne and his team of girls are super sweet, professional, and overall super fun to be around! My wedding would have not been the same without Wayne!
