Honestly, these tacos I ordered from El Grullense were the best tasting tacos I have ever had. It makes me sad that I live so far away, or else I would be here 3 times a week. The photo is from my hotel room table. The food truck does not have tables.

I have always enjoyed the asada tacos. Whether I order them with or without their spiciness, I find myself not wanting to put them down. However, on this occasion, I decided to order a Milanesa torta, as well. I was…disappointed. It seemed as if it had already been fried once, then dropped back in the fryer to reheat it. I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

They gave us someone else’s order by mistake, but when we went back they corrected it. Our fish tacos were excellent and at only $3 each were a great deal. Note you’ll be standing next to the highway, but everyone waiting there were friendly and helped us translate the Spanish.

They take forever to give you your food, meat was salty and some parts over cooked and salty while others were raw. mind you i ordered asada fries with everything and was definitely disappointed. Do not reccomend and ares was sketchy.

Tried this spot for the first time. The area felt a bit sketchy, but the food was totally worth it! The staff were super chill, and the red salsa packs some heat — perfect if you like it spicy like I do . Plus, they accept Apple Pay, which is a nice bonus. Totally coming back to this place again.

The quesabirria was out of this world. The perfect crunch on the shell and warm melty cheese on the inside. Meat was tender. I loved it. Been back 3 times this WEEK! Delicious!

Seafood cocktail was great and reasonably priced. Mexican coke was 6 dollars which is way over priced. Felt I was being robbed.

I’ve been dieing for tacos de lengua for months.. every other taco truck I went to in Salinas was always sold out. I had seen this place but it’s way over on the east side so I never made the drive since I live in monterey. But let me tell you this New Year’s Eve I decided I was going to have my tacos and they were amazing! Service was fast food was fresh the plate was full and they even gave me a gift! I can’t speak enough volume into how good this spot is. I’m a traveling healthcare worker and the first thing I do is look for the best tacos in town wherever I’m at. And this right here hands down wins the big prize of the best I’ve ever had!

I come here just for their Shrimp Burritos (regular with everything). They’re delicious! Love the spiciness. Comes with grilled onions & a grilled jalapeño. The fresh Jamaica tastes like my mom’s. Hidden truck jem in a hidden part of town.
