If you are in or near Owenton, KY then this is a must stop! There are signs posted both directions to find this gem. The ambiance is Mexican and the place is stamped with Amigos everywhere. There is plenty of seating both inside and they also have a beautiful deck. The owner and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, large portions, and speedy delivery from sit down to take out. There is something here for everyone and they do have a vegan selection. I had the famous shrimp tacos and fresh guacamole with chips, beans, and rice. One of the best i have tasted.

What a wonderful place for a quick bite of fresh food or a nice dinner and a drink! The service is top notch and everything on the menu is tasty! The mixed drinks are delicious as well, expertly blended and served with style. Perfect for groups as well or just the 2 of you, Amigos has a place for everyone.

The servers did not know any English much. I asked for coleslaw and they brought me back plain lettuce. Cuz that was what was on the menu with my fish. Daughters steak was terrible, very salty and tough. But it still costed me $60 for my food. I will never be back there again. Horrible place. Even the manager knew very little English.

Pretty good place overall. Food was phenomenal… margaritas were ok. Service was prompt. It’s a small, close dining room, so we felt like we were right in the neighboring table’s conversation. Nobody seemed to mind… I just wouldn’t recommend trying to have a private chat.

Food was just ok, wasn’t a blow me away experience by any means, but I wasn’t expecting one. The service was ok, nothing over the top or anything, just ok. Atmosphere was strange honestly, x-men movie on one tv, MTV on another, and some British show on the other all while there is ambient Mexican music playing as well. The most upsetting thing was when my wife and daughter freaked out at a roach literally on the wall at our table just after we had finished eating. I killed it with a napkin, paid, and left. We will not be back.
