I decided to take a different route home on Friday & popped into Bread Guy Breads for the first time—definitely not the last. The smell when you walk in is incredible, & the service was fabulous. I left with a four pack of small sourdough loaves, though choosing was hard with so many sweet & savory options. I also grabbed a savory chorizo cheddar roll-up, a brown sugar pastry, & a couple of cheesy breads to eat in the car. I was happy with all my choices—everything was so fresh & delicious.

Wonderful selection of breads and related bakery (like scones and muffins), as good as I’ve seen anywhere in the Worcester area. Friendly/cheerful service by their crew. House specialty seems to be sourdough (that is to die for!) but everything we tasted was fabulous. Plenty of parking in front.

As a European finding any bread in America, that doesn’t taste like cake is an ongoing quest. This place is brilliant, I’m not much of A fan of sourdough But theirs are very mild. They also have a selection of freshly baked crusty bread that is not sourdough. All are amazing. I can Highly recommend that everything loaf the rosemary and herb loaf, and their jalapeño and cheese loaf is amazing.
This is literally the best French Baguette I’ve had outside of France.
The gentleman and ladies who work there are friendly and courteous, knowledgeable and just so polite it really is a pleasure to shop here. The only complaint I have is I wish they had more loaves. It’s best if you get there early in the morning if you’d like the full selection they do sell out so if you are traveling a little ways to get here it’s best to call if you’re intending to get there late in the afternoon.
I drive from Connecticut to come here if that gives you any idea of how good they are cannot say enough good things about them. I’m hoping that they will start trying more recipes as I requested them to try to make an English bloomer, which is one of My favorite Breads from home.

I join the other 92 people who offered up 5 starts to this amazing bakery. I grew up in Philadelphia/New Jersey where finding your favorite bakery is a RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE. Many a conversation revolves around who has the best crumb bun, cinnamon buns, Italian bread, donuts….you get the gist. So, when I kept hearing about “The Bread Guy” I was like ok, this will be interesting. I have lived in Massachusetts for 40+ years and NEVER ONCE HAVE I HAD A GOOD BAKERY EXPERIENCE. My husband and I, both from Philly, joke that we have been pretending to like our local bakeries for 40 years, but not until you cross into the NY/NJ area can you get a decent bakery item–UNTIL NOW. Like HOLY SMOKES get over to this place, run…do not walk. The hardest decision is what to buy because every single things I have bought from this bakers has been OUTSTANDING. As a friend of mine says in her review…I am kinda sorry I found this place. It calls my name…and over to Grafton I go to “to just look”, and every time I leave with something that is DELICIOUS. I could continue to go on and on but let me just say, THIS PLACE DESERVES EVERY GREAT REVIEW THEY RECEIVE. Their baked good are outstanding, it’s a happy place where the employees and the owner are HAPPY TO GREET YOU (I miss this from my Philly days) and you leave feeling like you won the lottery. Their prices are reasonable as well. I can not say enough good about this place. The other subtle but really special thing about Bread Guy Breads is the partnership with the Grafton Public Schools through the Grafton Achieving Independence Now program (GAIN), the students are learning skills alongside Chuck, who is a former school principal. It’s a match made in bread heaven for anyone who gets to experience this place. We are very fortune to have this in our area and I only hope Chuck can continue to live out his passion so we may all benefit from it!

I was searching for a Sourdough sandwich loaf that wasn’t made with commercial yeast and vinegar like a nearby large food store makes. His sourdough is almost sweet and had the flavor of French baguettes. Not as sour as San Francisco bread is.

We have loved everything we’ve picked up! Classic sourdough, specialty flavored loaves, and you can never go wrong with a muffin. The Bread Guy does not disappoint!

I stopped in the shop & bought a chocolate chip muffin for my husband. Though the muffin tasted okay, chocolate chips were only on the top. I think the muffin would have been better if chocolate chips were added to the batter.

Its a great local bakery. We’ve been trying a different loaf of bread from them on a near weekly basis for a while now. Can’t go wrong. The deserts are also great. Don’t show up too late though, they might be sold out!

I would give more than 5 stars. They are the kindest people and the bread is AMAZING. I have always wanted to learn how to bake bread, especially sourdough. I was doing so much research. I called and they offered to give me some of their sourdough starter for free! I made a beautiful loaf. A few weeks later I needed more help, and they gave me more starter and lots of pointers. I’m so grateful! I bought a chocolate chip sourdough baguette and accidentally ate it all in one day. I will be taking the sourdough making class in the spring!! Love them

My partner works in Grafton and usually buys me the cinnamon hand pies every week or so. They’re so delicious, but these past two weeks the pies have been really dry and crumbly and the filling has been kind of dry too. Not sure if there was a recipe change or something, but it just feels like the quality has gone down drastically compared to the end of november. Pretty disappointed to say the least.
