If I could give negative stars, I would.

They forgot my order and then played it off gaslighting me about it. Then I could tell when I told them, they took out bags of food from the fridge that seemed frozen and rushed it. The food I ordered should be more cooked than what I was given. When I complained about it not being cooked enough they said it comes that way. On top of that my order barely had any chicken. I have tried the dish in different places and if that is the case, this is the worst I’ve had. Wish they had just been more accountable instead of being rude about it. It’s not free food after all and it was paid for.

Update: I don’t owe an apology to the staff who replied because this person is clearly rude and this shows their poor customer service. (No refund was offered at the time I went to complain and instead I’m being offered a refund in a threatening way asking me to come in to their food truck)

Your food was bad period. You are clearly in denial and I will not remove my honest review because you are lying.

I only checked on my order once after a while and you literally said out loud “I forgot” when I asked, then played it off like I didn’t hear it and like my food was already getting done when it wasn’t. I won’t even respond to the rest because is your continuous attempt to be in denial about your poor customer service and quality of food today.

Arguing publicly with a customer trying to force an apology from them out of the bad experience you created won’t bring them back . Just learn from it and be better. Stop making excuses and improve. This is coming from someone who never leaves reviews unless it’s an amazing or really bad experience. This was a bad experience all the way.

Your reply just made it worst and confirmed you have a long way to go in customer service. Hopefully you reflect on that and I hope you learn to have accountability and treat your customers better in the future. If not I really don’t mind, is not my food truck. Luckily there are plenty of delicious Thai food places far better. Even though there is no apology from you, I forgive you and wish you well.

I have been ordering from this Esan Thai Lents location multiple times, and they have never failed to deliver top notch food experience for great prices. I have ordered Pad Kee Mao, multiple Fried Rice dishes, Crab Cream puffs and soups. I wish I had taken more photos. They are rich in flavors and you can almost always taste the freshness of all ingredients. They are best had right after you pick up the order and it’s still hot. I will be coming back for more!

Had pretty decent experience here a few years back and came back to try the pad thai for the first time today. The most tastless pad thai I have ever eaten in my life, almost no flavour and not much protein too ( i ordered shrimps). What have happened…?

Amazing thai food, panang curry is to die for the Pineapple fried rice amazing. They’ve never got my order wrong. Great portion sizes my favorite thai food in Portland. I suggest stepping out of your pad thai comfort zone for some real tasty thai cuisine.

They serve halal chicken in their stir fry, so I got the pad see ew and replaced the beef with chicken. Super flavorful sauce, chewy noodles (not overcooked!), and a sizable portion enough for 2 people. My friend ordered the pad Thai which was decent. The only downside is how long it took to get our orders, it was pretty quiet but we waited over 30 mins for our two dishes. I’ll definitely be back for more Thai chicken dishes!

Just ordered for delivery and honestly probably won’t order again. $60 worth of food and the only redeemable quality is the broth of the tom yum. And even if the food was good seeing the owner argue w customers who didn’t have a good experience in the reviews would be enough for me not to come back.

Mouth watering yummyness. Great place to stop. I am new to this restaurant and the lovely people running it suggested that my original choice might not be the best choice. With their super help I got an amazing meal! We had Squid, Pad Thai (beef), potstickers and #61(chicken). Highly recommend this place. Also there is a bar next to it where you can eat and get drinks. The E-San Thai Cuisine Food Cart in Lents makes the best Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) I have had in Oregon. The basil and veggies are fresh, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the sauce has a delicate citrus tang. They are very busy at lunch today and it was absolutely worth the 20 minute wait. Very friendly service also.
