This is my third time ever coming to a Chipotle the first time was a bad experience the meat was rubber like and inedible. Ordered a chicken burrito to share with guacamole which they charged extra $3.00 for. At another location on the south side they did not charge me for the guacamole so when I got the receipt and saw the charge it surprised me and I did ask about the charge which they pointed to the glass saying there it is right there we do charge.
I also asked them if they could cut the burrito in half and I was told there’s knives over there. They pointed towards the direction of a wall which I assume was on the other side of the room. I did get a plastic butter knife which could not cut the burrito so I just tore it with my hands.
We took the burrito to go sitting inside of our vehicle. We both took one bite of the burrito and it tastes very gross like how an old dirty bandage would smell. Like the taste of something that is infected. Like a wound that is infected or like meat that has went bad and started to rot. I was so upset that I took the burrito back and spoke with the manager asking for a refund. The manager asked if they could remake the burrito which I said no way I am not eating here. The refund he gave me was just for the burrito and I told him I also got charged extra for the guacamole he said oh it had guacamole on there? So he gave me another refund for the extra charge for the guacamole.
I also told him the reason why the food tastes like that is because something is dirty or someone is not getting cleaned properly which he just said thank you and then I left.
This was my meal of the day because it was noonish so I was hungry but afterwards I lost my whole appetite and did not want to eat anything until I got home. Was pretty traumatized that I told everyone I encountered while shopping at the Walmart about my experience because I don’t want them getting sick or going through the same experience.

My mom and I came in and got a VEGGIE burrito where guac should be free because it’s VEGGIE… And a large chips and queso. The chips were stale and no salt on them, the queso had chunks of who knows what in it along with a huge piece of steak. The rice wasn’t fully cooked and still hard. And…. Did I mention my guac should have been free in my burrito? We got charged. None of what we paid was worth it. I’ve never had an experience like this let alone this bad at Chipotle. My mom and I always come to the one on La Cholla because it’s usually cleaner than the one on Cortaro and holds a higher standard but this time they totally went down the drain… Worse than cortaro aka Arizona Pavillons.

This place is horribly ran. All the lemonades are out, rice is so salty it’s inedible and the burrito they made was literally falling apart by the time I sat at the table. I went up to ask for napkins as they were completely out and the ‘manager’ Jordan was so rude and literally said “What?” I was patiently waiting until she wasn’t busy…not sure why anyone would think it’s ok to talk to customers like that. She then snapped at one of the other coworkers to “go” without acknowledging or responding to me.

We requested they remake the burrito as it was literally falling apart as soon as I opened the foil and Jordan again snapped at us that we had to get back in line and wait. This was AFTER waiting 15 minutes in line with TWO customers in front of us. She was incredibly rude, not understanding and wouldn’t even try and remedy the situation. Another coworker came over to issue a refund and apologize, still refusing to remake the burrito.

The trash is over flowing, none of the tables have been cleaned in who knows how long.

I live nearby and have been coming to this Chipotle frequently, but I’ve had multiple bad experiences. I was being charged for items I never ordered—like double protein and guacamole—so I paid for extra items I didn’t receive. I did address this before, and they removed the charge, but it happened again last week. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude. I asked for salt, and when I reached out, instead of handing it to me, they just put it on the shelf next to me and completely ignored me. No thank you, no acknowledgment—just very dismissive. I won’t be coming back.

The food here is good clean fast food that’s fresh. They nail that every time. But the treatment they give you, the food, and each other is ridiculous. Let me explain my recent experience (I have trouble every other time I go). I arrive to an empty order line, greeted by a nervous but nice newbie. I order my burrito he gets the tortilla going and asked what’s next and I say two more burritos another worker walks up cuts him off and blurts mix and match, I say sure because I don’t know or really comprehend what this sudden person wants from me. They proceed to slide the two burritos down to the veg area not asking anything about the burros and promptly tells the newbie two tortillas. I explain we don’t want a kids meal when she grabs the kids meal container, I explain we want three burritos. I then explain we want some additional items from the hot area, she tosses the remain ingredients as fast as possible to finish the burritos. They don’t drain the beans or pico when she makes them and essentially creates a mound of soup in the middle of the tortilla. I ended up with a mush burro while my sons ended up being a square, and the foil wrap was not done with any care to cover the burro and promptly stuffed in the bag. I asked if they sold cookies (for the spouse) and was met with more rudeness. It seems chipotles model gets the food right, but any care about the food assembly or customer interaction is to the way side.

Picture this:

Long day – work, errands etc. you think to yourself “man I’m starving I’ll grab something quick and easy”. After much contemplating between the many “gourmet” fast food joints in the area, you decide on Chipotle, because hey it’s healthy right?? You make yourself an online order and pay the new $10-15 average for a entree. Drive to and walk in the restaurant to grab your food.

On the way home you anxiously await the chance to devour your food. You get home, sit down to enjoy a palpable meal, only to be greeted by the saddest drop of food any restaurant within a square mile would be embarrassed to serve. Honestly I know we live in some interesting times but if this is what you get for $15 nowadays I’d rather eat a bowl of nails sans milk. At least I get what I pay for and can control the portions better than a billion dollar food company.

I mean seriously did they swap their scoops with teaspoons?

Absolutely horrible service and the food was dry and crunchy!!! Not to mention being charged what I was for the smallest portion I’ve ever received!!! I tried talked to a manager and ever called the number given but I was ignored or told to write an email. So here I am writing what needs to be told so others don’t experience what I have.

Walking up i noticed the stack of dishes piled on the counter. That should have been red flag 1. Then walking in no one said hi or acknowledged myself or my girlfriend even being there. Then while standing there waiting for basic “Hi”, I had the time to see how absolutely disgusting this place. It looked like no one even cared to try and be clean. Literally just disgusting everywhere. After seeing how disgusting it was, and not being talked to, we left. Wasn’t worth just standing there while being ignored.

Maybe its time for a change.

I’ve always enjoyed chipotle… They were crazy busy today but did wonderful. They need to get a separate group to do online/Uber eats and a separate section of food. It would make the whole process go faster. Right now they’re taking the good experience away from people that want to step inside their establishment And the poor people waiting for the different online ordering companies. The food was good as always.

We ordered food from there on Wednesday night, we got home and everything was cold (we only live 5 minutes away). I guess the meats were sitting out for a while. The only thing we enjoyed were the chips.
