Overall, the food was good. It’s nice to have this type of barbecue in the area to try and experience. The brisket was nice and tender. The smoked turkey was really good very tender not overcooked but my pork spareribs I believe were a little undercooked and extremely tough. The cowboy baked beans with brisket was OK but not really my style or my liking but the hot honey hush puppies are phenomenal. The staff was friendly. The price was good. The service was fast. I look forward to returning to try the ribs one more time to see if they have just an off day, but I’ll definitely be returning for the brisket, the smoked turkey and the hot honey hush puppies maybe next time I’ll try the macaroni and cheese. I’m a weekend warrior pitmaster myself so I understand we might have off days so I’m definitely gonna give them guys another shot at those spare ribs and I can’t wait to try that half smoked chicken.
The service was wonderful. You have to wait for your food for a bot, bit it’s all worth the wait.
The pricing is good for the serving sizes. The restaurant is spotless and so is the restroom.
If you are considering this restaurant, I highly suggest to run and don’t walk!
Overall, I’m rating Disruotuin BBQ with 5 stars because, hands down, thus is the best BBQ we’ve had in Georgia in my 18 years of living here. Well done, Disruption BBQ!
Got the sampler platter with ribs , pulled pork and turkey and my 2 sides were Mac and cheese and fries. Ordered a half chicken and a side of hush puppies.
The food was great, portions were good and price was fair!
Those hush puppies with that honey sauce are out of this world !!!!!
We will definitely be back to try the brisket and other items.
TLDR: For over $70 I did not get any drinks and got mediocre food. My family and I may try it again but it will be in the far future.
Here are our thoughts:
The staff were super nice, friendly, and explained anything if we had any questions!
The atmosphere was meh, it had some good music playing in the background but you could tell it was a fresh start on a business as there was nothing else really there other than some random things (themed) hanging on the wall.
Now to the food…
The buffalo wings were cooked well but tasted like nothing special maybe lightly coated in Frank’s red hot
The pulled pork was a little dry and really didn’t have any flavor, I could see the bark and smoke ring but no flavor, it was disappointing.
The brisket was cooked well but the seasoning tasted like I was eating salt.
The ribs, well one set were dry and a tough pull, the second set was perfectly cooked and tasted great.
My family really enjoyed the seasoning on the fries and they were cooked perfectly.
The beans were good.
I absolutely LOVED the hush puppies! (I will probably go back just for these)
I personally liked the BBQ sauce as it tasted like an apple cider vinegar based which I like, but my wife didn’t like it.
I also got the banana pudding… It was not a traditional pudding by no means, it wasn’t bad but the serving size was NOT worth the $8!
Service was good. Food is basic.
I got the pulled pork plate with cowboy beans & Mac & cheese. Pulled pork tasted good & so did the beans. (3/5)
The Mac & cheese however, was nasty. It’s not the same Mac & cheese you would find at other BBQ spots. It tastes like blandy Alfredo. It was soup & the noodle tastes mushy. (0.5/5)
Keep up the great work!!!
This is like our 3rd time eating here and that’s crazy y normally feeds us and the kids .
