I had heard all the claims: “handy quaint long and slim” and “belly up”, but I had to see it for myself. What can I say? It is indeed long and slim! The belly up-style bar somehow has perfectly angled armrest to rest your elbows while talking 3 across. The drinks were so deliciously poured each time that after just a few, I spent my night using that armrest to cradle my forehead as I was bent over laughing too hard.
Handy? I’d say so. Plenty of parking. Becca was working the bar. She’s clearly a pro who knows how to strike the perfect balance of service and conversation. When I was there they were hosting a birthday party for a beloved regular. They had the back room full of potluck food that they freely offered up to anyone. I loved the salsa so much, Becca sent me home with it!
Quaint? Well, my friend came wearing house shoe-style moccasins (moccasin-style house shoes?). She felt very comfortable being just herself at Just Bill’s.
Not a detractor in the slightest, but you might wonder about the etymology of “Just Bill’s”. I’d be lying if I said it was totally clear. Outside the sign says Just Bill’s (sorry no pic), but inside you can find at least four different signs with slightly different branding. Best I can work together is JD bought the place in 2015, but rather than fully reinventing it as JD’s Sports Bar, he wanted to honor the tradition of the original. The original, of course, being *just* “Bill’s”. So come on down the JD’s Sport’s Bar, Bill’s, or whatever you want to call it, but whatever you do, just don’t miss Just Bill’s next time you’re in Aurora.

You’re missing out if you don’t stop in. Feels like you went home to mom and dad’s house. Friendly patrons, Becca the bartender is funny and makes great drinks and the owner JD was more than inviting and engaged us as made us feel like locals. Fast, friendly and efficient service. We laughed and really enjoyed ourselves. Check out the menu too. Great bar snacks. Great adult atmosphere!!! We will back!!!! Thank you JD and Becca!

Funky little place where anything can happen. A definite hole in the wall and the character selection can vary from night to night. Don’t miss the bartender John, he is most definitely just doing his own thing here and having fun with it. Come through if in the area. You might find yourself highly entertained.

Great local dive bar! Very friendly and welcoming to all. Full of locals, but glad to welcome newcomers and out of towners! Mark and John were great and very helpful and friendly. Our new go to bar in this area. Plenty of parking, even for a big truck, you can park for up to 24 hr.

First time there. The bartender was terrific. Nice quiet pub where you can actually talk with your mates while enjoying a favorite libation.
Was not crowded, so we could sit comfortably and relax.
Next time I go, I aim to try one of their burgers.
