This is an amazing Chinese Noodle Restaurant. I love the hand pulled noodles, beef noodle soup and Dan Dan noodles. The food and service are exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

All I can say is WOW!!! It’s a great experience to try the hands pull noodles from Shang Artisan Noodles at Durango Resort Casino. These noodles soups come with full of flavors, with broth that you can taste that been stewed overnight and plenty of variety of proteins depending on your preference. The restaurant’s atmosphere is well decorated with different Chinese folks music instruments on the wall, and hands pulled noodles shaped lanterns on the ceiling. It is very clean and well maintained professionally. The service is impeccable from the hostess to the service staffs. They all come with a smile and a «Thank You ». We were very happy to dine here and have a great experience. Come and try it out for yourself. I know you will not regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! To start with our server Jon, was one of the most incredible servers I have ever had! His professionalism, his attention to detail and the care that he put into his work was very evident and that is what made him so very special. If anyone goes there, ask for Jon! The other staff members were also very nice and welcoming. Now about the food. We had the beef brisket noodle soup, and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was! The portions are very large and two people could eat off one plate and still be full. We also had the spicy wonton dumplings. Best both of us have ever eaten! I will definitely go back there and this is definitely a restaurant that is worth going out of your way to go to.

I visited this restaurant on a weekday around 2 PM, and the dining area was fairly quiet — only 2 to 3 tables were occupied. Given the low foot traffic, I had hoped for a smooth and pleasant lunch experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas.
We ordered four items: fried rice, dumplings, chicken sesame cold hand-pulled noodles, and Shang beef soup with hand-pulled noodles. The biggest letdown was the noodles. The hand-pulled noodles were far too thick — closer to the size of udon, which completely misses the mark. If you’ve ever had proper hand-pulled noodles in Asia, you’d know the standard thickness should be somewhere between spaghetti and angel hair pasta. This version was heavy and lacked the chewy texture you’d expect from authentic hand-pulled noodles.
To make matters worse, the dumplings we ordered didn’t arrive until the very end of our meal. A server came by to inform us that the chef had burned the first batch and needed an additional 20 minutes to make a new one. While I appreciated the honesty, it didn’t quite add up — I glanced into the open kitchen and saw the chef chatting casually with another staff member. It didn’t seem like they were too busy or under pressure, which made the delay and mishap even more frustrating.
This isn’t my first visit — I’ve dined at this location before and also at their other branch. The other store clearly delivers a better experience, both in terms of food quality and service. It makes me wonder if the lack of customers and activity at this location has led to complacency in the kitchen.
Overall, a disappointing visit. With so many options out there, consistency and attention to detail are crucial — and sadly, this location didn’t live up to expectations.

This was our 2nd time eating at Shang Artisan Noodle. The first time was about a year ago at their other location in LV Chinatown. We decided to try this new location out inside Durango Casino Hotel. This location was less crowded and we didn’t have wait at all! Last time we waited for about 45 minutes and we came we they opened! The food was delicious as the other location. We ordered the Shang Beef Noodle and Pork Belly Soup with Knife-Shaved Noodles, spicy sauce on the side. Would recommend this location to go to if you are in town to try out some awesome Beef Noodles in LV.

Shang is a fantastic option for great flavors, quick service, and reasonable prices for the level and amount of food. We have tried nearly everything on the menu. The spicy wonts, cucumbers, and soups are all delicious. The pork belly and beef soups feature a good amount of tender meat. The wonton soup is surprisingly good with a lot of wontons and even better with added noodles.

So, I ordered the spicy shang noodle however, I can’t take how spicy it is and so my husband asked them if they can do anytging about it and yeah! They changes it to mild and replaced everything in my bowl. Lovely people, very friendly especially Mel. Come, check this place!

Located at the food hall (Eat your heart out) at the Durango casino. You can eat in their dining area or take out and eat in the common area of the food hall. I’ve eaten at the other location so was excited to eat it again. Got the Shang beef noodle (hand knife shaved noodles) with extra bok choy and the spicy wontons. You can choose hand pulled noodles if you like and then choose your mild or spicy. Note spicy is spicy though so beware. Everything was so delicious. Broth had tons of flavor, beef was very tender and the noodles were perfect. You can even watch them make the noodles fresh through the glass in the kitchen.
My only complaint is the prices are much higher at this location than the original location. I understand it’s in a casino but just mentioning it if you prefer to save some money and just eat at the other one. The food is so delicious though. The portion size is pretty large so
we shared the soup between 2 of us and just requested extra bowls.
We got our food super quick and the service was attentive and friendly. Food hall area was modern and very clean.
