Shooters Waterfront is the largest waterfront restaurant in Ft Lauderdale with over 350 feet of private dock space and over 35,000 sq. Ft. of indoor/outdoor space. The landmark property proudly serves over 500,000 guests annually, and that number has steadily grown each year. Shooters Waterfront embodies the memories and historical spirit of good times, great food and incredible views of the Intracoastal Waterway since it was inception in 1979. After 2014 remodel, Shooters reemerged as a destination restaurant with a modern look and new menu. Still the place to come to for the full Florida dining experience. So many places nearby have folded. Sorry to see them go. But our Shooter’s meals have always been fresh, well prepared and their servers are great! Make sure you ask for David when you arrive. He is one of the most efficient servers we’ve ever have had. Very attentive to his customers needs. He really made our meal so relaxing.

LOVE. Out waitress, Karyna WAS AMAZING. We had a party of 13. She took care of of us the whole time! Fish tacos so good. All the salads and sushi were good too!!! We sat outside by the water, with such a pretty view! + the music selection was a plus.

Wow, we didn’t except to have good food given the nice views and location, and thankfully we were wrong! Best fish tacos we’ve had in years, including in Mexico and LA! The cheeseburger was perfect, except I ordered medium rare and it was more on the medium side but it was still very good and so were the fries. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was fantastic! The ranch dressing is also amazing. It’s rare to get ranch like that on the east coast. The Watermelon Mint Cooler was tarry and tasty! I requested it to be mixed with club and just a splash of the watermelon liqueur to minimize the sugar. Our server Jessica was a sweetheart! We had a table with a nice view outside. The weather was perfect and so was the vibe. Highly recommend lunch or dinner!

Jared, the manager, is an absolute diamond to this company. From the moment challenges arose, he stepped in with grace, respect, and unwavering professionalism. Despite an unexpectedly long wait following our 2:30 PM reservation, Jared turned what could have been a disappointment into an unforgettable experience.
And then there is Jade—pure class. Her attentive, warm, and polished service made the wait far more pleasant and reminded us why hospitality is truly an art. Together, Jared and Jade ensured that our party of six—my wife, our children, and myself—felt genuinely valued and cared for every step of the way.
The food was outstanding. Management went above and beyond by personally remaking our grouper entrée, and Jared stayed present the entire time to ensure it was cooked to perfection. The result? Beautifully prepared, flavorful, and expertly executed. That level of accountability and pride is rare—and deeply appreciated.
What truly sets this experience apart is how they transformed our anniversary into something unforgettable. What began with disappointment ended in joy, gratitude, and surprise. Celebrated a birthday dinner and loved the food, service, and atmosphere. This is a great spot to enjoy some great food on the water. All of our food was super tasty. The Mac and cheese was a little dry, but wasn’t an issue big enough to detract from the meal overall.

From my entire experience, the highlight was definitely the service provided by Nic. He was extremely kind, professional, and very attentive throughout our visit. We went for brunch on Saturday and the atmosphere was incredible—beautiful setting and great vibes. I personally recommend ordering from the à la carte menu rather than the buffet-style brunch, as I found the buffet options to be a bit limited in variety. Overall, a very pleasant experience thanks especially to the excellent service.

Shooters has always been a fave! Have celebrated anniversaries and birthdays here. Food is top notch and our server Mark was phenomenal.The Korean short rib appetizer was chef’s kiss! Tried new dishes on his recommendation and we were happy we did. If you are looking for delish food, great ambience and attentive friendly service, Shooters is the place. And ask for Mark, you wont be disappointed! Just make sure to make a reservation!

My good friend and I meet once a month and we have found our spot we loved this place. We went for brunch I recommend reservations because it was popping we did reservations arrived on time and was seated immediately. The have a brunch buffet but we didn’t feel like getting up so we ordered from the menu. We ordered bottomless Memosas, 2 dozens oysters, Calamari, fish tacos, and a steak sandwich. The food was soooo good our waiter Carlos was amazing he kept our glasses full and he brought things to the table without us even asking its like he was reading our minds. To Theo thank you for your great customer service. To our food runner Jay you should consider becoming a waiter your personality is perfect for it you are a vibe. They also have a DJ I mean this place was perfect. This will be our new monthly spot.

Shooters Waterfront – New Year’s Eve – Dec 31, 2025.
We booked Shooters’ NYE event about two months in advance for a group of seven and were assured—twice—that outdoor heater torches would be set up and that the cold would not be an issue.
We arrived at 8:00 pm and found that our table, along with several others, had no heaters or torches at all, despite it being very cold. Our server was friendly and doing his best, but it took until 9:30 pm for torches to finally arrive after repeated requests. This was especially frustrating since we had specifically called ahead to confirm this detail.
Service throughout the evening was slow and disorganized. Appetizers arrived for only 4 of the 7 guests, and the remaining 3 waited another 28 minutes. Two guests received lobster bisque but were not given spoons until all appetizers had arrived, by which time the food was cold. Main courses came about 30 minutes after appetizers were cleared, and nearby tables did not receive their meals until around 11:10 pm.
To stay warm, I had to purchase two blankets totaling $202 CAD, which felt unreasonable. The event cost $200 USD per person (plus drinks), and for that price, the experience was poorly executed.
The wait staff were professional and courteous—this was clearly a management and planning issue. Overall, we still made the best of the evening, but the lack of organization and follow-through was disappointing for a premium New Year’s Eve event.

Food was surprisingly really good. Dishes were beautifully prepared and exceeded our expectations. The octopus was a tad on the chewy side and the pork belly was rougher than expected but both had great sauces and flavors to help with that. The sushi was surprisingly pretty spicy, leaving a kick in your mouth after still yummy though. The charcuterie pizza was delicious but a smidge on the stinky side (some manchego cheese’s lean towards that so it’s expected) it also had a nice spice to it and the honey made it delicious. The short rib ravioli sauce was amazing and huge sized ravioli! Very happy with our meals & our server Ashley was wonderful and very attentive. We had a reservation for 7:30 on open table but arrived at 7 and were sat almost immediately. Lovely atmosphere by the water
