Incredible, quality food, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere- We stumbled upon this place after several days of intense travel, and we were so delighted we did! Our waiters made the salsa at the table, & answered any questions we had about the dishes. He also went out of his way to let us try several wines before making a selection. The Veggie Ceviche is delicious, refreshing & unique. We also had the catch of the day & a few other dishes. Everything was great! We will be back in the future. And the view of the beautiful garden felt like we were in a palace! One of the best meals of my life everyone here was very welcoming & especially thank you to our waiter Jessie!

If I were to describe my meal at Restaurante del Parque in one word, it would be “perfection”! Rarely have I enjoyed my overall meal experience in a restaurant as much as this one: the service was gracious, friendly, and attentive; the food was exquisite; and the atmosphere quiet and romantic — the setting is a covered terrace with a view of the beautiful garden. Our waiter Jesse was very knowledgeable about the menu, which featured the specialties of Oaxaca and Puebla. He did a table side preparation of salsa for us, and then described to us in detail all of the menu items and their ingredientes. He recommended appropriate wines to pair with our food selections, after which the wine steward/bartender Manuel brought us several samples so we could choose the wine we liked best. And since I was celebrating my birthday, the restaurant staff made this special for me as well, with a special birthday dessert and after dinner drink.
Restaurante del Parque is a San Miguel gem! I look forward to my return visit.

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely hotel! The restaurant exceeded our expectations, particularly during our lunch visit. The highlight of our meal was the mole tasting, where each mole showcased distinct and delicious flavors that truly impressed us. After your meal, I highly recommend taking a stroll around the hotel grounds. The beautiful surroundings, adorned with lush vegetation, add to the overall charm of the place.

Had breakfast here as a lot of places weren’t open yet. This is a part of a hotel, prices seemed a bit high compared to a lot of other places. The portions were good and the food was freshly made, it took a while. The barbacoa was really dry but the chilaquiles were delicious and a huge plate.

We spent the day sightseeing and I wanted to go to a restaurant that we had never been to before. This did not disappoint. We stopped in around 3pm and this became our meal of the day. Open air to the garden made it feel like it was outdoors yet sheltered. We bought a bottle of Mexican Sauvignon Blanc which was decent and unremarkable. The guacamole appetizer was delicious. My wife had the soft shell crab tacos which we shared and I had the black shrimp tostadas which we shared. Both plates were very good. Service was friendly and solicitous but not fawning. We would definitely go back again.

We had an outstanding meal at restaurante del Parque. We had most authentic Mexican meal of our visit in San Miguel de Allende. Diego our waiter was so generous in explaining the dishes to us presented them in such an interesting way. We loved every bite. We were delighted because we had planned to go to a different restaurant found that it was closed. This restaurant was the next closest one.
It was the best meal that we had in San Miguel de Allende.

You go here when you are ready for a relaxing, top notch experience. Eat slowly and enjoy the fountain trickling and the garden view. They offer Pain Au Chocolate before bringing your breakfast. It’s worth the calories! We had the Vegan Burrito and the something rolled with eggs and chorizo inside corn tortillas with bean sauce. Yum

The service was average with a few hiccups and a little awkward at times. The restaurant wasn’t busy and still the servers weren’t attentive.
The food was unimaginative and boring, nothing inspired or creative. Very middle of the road. Something you could find at any restaurant and not at the same level as the atmosphere.
