Strolled up to this chipotle looking for my typical bowl, the line was at a standstill, they were out of white rice. No problem I’ll take the brown rice to the front of the line for the inconvenience which there was none, they gave me double beans! Loaded me up on fajitas and a lot of cheese. Big win and a big way. I’ll be back for sure. seven thumbs up.

A good place for a good burrito near the beach.
I tend to agree with the comment by another review that this restaurant may be getting review bombed. My experience was pleasant. There are 3,750 restaurants in the chain headquartered in Newport Beach, CA. I’ve visited many of their locations in different states, and this one is located on Eau Gallie Blvd in Melbourne, Florida. It’s a recently opened location and still has that fresh, new feel to it. There’s decent parking in the front and along the side, which made access pretty easy. This was my first visit to this specific location, and like the others in the chain, it follows the familiar and efficient format where you order at one end of the counter and follow your meal down the line, choosing your ingredients as you go. They offer bowls and burritos with a variety of fresh meats, rice, beans, and toppings. I’ve always found their ingredients to be fresh and the meals consistent in quality. On this visit, I ordered ahead for pickup instead of dining in. The ordering process online was smooth, and when I arrived, the food was ready and well-packaged although it was in the wrong place. It was with the drive-thru and I had to ask for it. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the pickup process was fast and easy. The restaurant was clean and well-organized. The food was hot, fresh, and just as expected when I got it home. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone passing through or living nearby. It’s a reliable spot for a tasty, quick meal.

Came in at about 2:35 on a Saturday before stepping in I wondered why the parking lot was empty , as I stepped in I noticed a dirty flat top ( takes 5 min to clean with a brick or heavy duty scraper )Come on prep do better ! . But on the positive side Camden was awesome and greeting me and my wife with a smile and took care of our order with speed and accuracy. We sat eating out delicious meal and noticed him behind us stocking lids and straws and other beverage items , what a great employee and he also informed us how to acquire our points for the app. Great employee yall have

Update: knocking 1 star off as I have found meat portions to be a bit inconsistent.

I feel like this place is getting review bombed. I’ve been here on 3 occasions now and have had a great experience every single time. Staff is great, place is clean, and the portions are very generous (I’ve only ordered in person though). Just be polite and they’ll hook you up.

Ordered a chicken bowl at Chipotle late yesterday evening. The serving size was excellent and the service was top notch. The employee was engaged and communicated with me along the whole process including asking if I wanted fresh chicken. It was so much food that I couldn’t finish it and flavours were delicious. Prices are also very reasonable given the current fast food market to portion size. I would highly recommend and encourage you to try it out!

I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the kitchen was a mess. Like someone else said, the grill was so dirty. I’ve never seen a grill like that. The counters were full of spilled food and there were dirty bows and blenders and all this stuff, it was just weird. I’ve never seen a chipotle look like this.

The guy cooking looked out of it and measured the salt for something he was making using the lid of a container that was being used for something else. That was bad.

Then someone who appeared the be the manager came and put a really dirty scale on an already really dirty counter.

There was one girl working at the front serving food and running the register. She was great. Hence the two stars. I figured she was alone bc they were short on staff. But nope, there were at least five other people there doing who knows what.

When I got to the front to order, there were out of so much food. I asked for steak, they were out. I asked when more was coming and she said it wasn’t. Grill guy was only making chicken and peppers but they were out of steak and carnitas.

They also had not chips or tacos bc I think their fryer was broken.

It was so poorly run. I’ve never seen a chipotle this bad. They aren’t getting review bombed. This is just not a a great chipotle. Seems like a a management issue.

I genuinely didn’t think this place could get worse, but leave it to the good folks at Chipotle to prove me wrong.

I’ll start with a review I left on Yelp a few weeks ago:

It’s a Chipotle – it’s impossible to be great, but should always be acceptable. I like Chipotle because it’s quick, convenient, and pretty healthy. When any of those factors change, the experience rapidly deteriorates.

The primary problem with this location is it’s grossly mismanaged. The last two times I’ve gone around 930 PM, well before 11 PM closing, and they are out of multiple ingredients. If this were a sourcing issue, or if they actually ran out, that would be one thing. However, when I mentioned this to the person behind the counter, I was informed they start packing up well before closing rendering ingredients unavailable that they actually have in the store.

Starting to shut down 15 minutes before closing is one thing; an hour and a half is completely absurd. This place is probably fine for lunch, but spare yourself the hassle later in the evening and look elsewhere.

A bare minimum requirement is to honor your operating hours. Do better.

VERDICT:
Quick: N/A
Convenient: Fail
Healthy: Fail

Now, moving on to tonight’s experience….

Because I learned my lesson the last two times, there’s now way I’d arrive at the ungodly hour of an hour and a half before closing expecting a full ingredient palette, so this time I came two and a half hours early. As expected, the employees were apathetic, ingredient trays were mostly bare, and there was an air of helplessness weighing over the few folks in line in front of me. I immediately noticed the chicken, brown rice, and sour cream all needed to be refilled. They called for replacements, which probably should have been called for at least 5 guests prior, and another worker got to work cutting up chicken.

When I got to the counter, I patiently waited for the chicken, and then placed my order. As we worked our way down the line, we got to the fajita vegetables, which were also on their last legs, and the worker told me after giving me some scraps that unfortunately they were COMPLETELY out of fajita vegetables. Fortunately from my angle I saw a little more on the other side of the container so I got a full serving, but again, it’s two and a half hours before closing – how on earth are you unable to prepare more ingredients for the rest of the evening. It’s absolutely preposterous, but anyways I digress as I got my portion. We finished up the bowls, I paid, and I left with a smile on my face considering this the most successful trip I’ve had to this store in the last three attempts – VICTORY!

Well, my excitement was short lived. Backtracking just a tad, as we were nearing the end of the line, the worker mentioned that they were completely out of sour cream, but was corrected that they had another full tub in the fridge. As he was grabbing that to swap out the container, a few bowls stacked up behind mine, which is generally not an issue, except when I got home I found the WRONG ORDER placed in my bag.

So, dinner was ruined, which could have been completely avoided had they simply replaced the ingredients some time before they fully ran out, demonstrated any level of care other than complete apathy throughout the process, and had a remotely competent manager to resolve these easily solvable problems that clearly prevent this location from being even the slightest bit acceptable.

Please, spare yourself the upset, and go to literally any other restaurant that this place.

How on earth can you mess up a Chipotle? It’s the most idiot-proof restaurant in the world, but apparently not even Chipotle is immune from pure incompetence.

First time here, the service at the counter was good. The young lady was working the whole front counter by herself. She is the only reason it gets an extra star. I was there at 1:30pm, well after the lunch rush and the dining room was filthy. Dirty tables, overflowing garbage and trays stacked up. The drink area was very messy with soda or tea flooding the sugar/sweetner containers. Even though I mentioned it to the staff it was not cleaned before I finished my lunch. It has potential but needs a manager that will train and guide staff. Not worth the money I spent.

I’ve been using the chipotlane for a while and always ask for green tabasco sauce through the window. This time a young woman with glasses kindly said i have to come inside but no explanation to this when to my knowledge of coming to chipotle for YEARS, wasn’t informed of this rule. I am extremely upset because the tabasco sauce is what makes my meal great. This location hasn’t always been the kind type but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I know how fast food can be, but she was lazy. nice, but lazy. she could’ve gotten for me this one time then explained this NEW rule to MY knowledge to me.

I tried Chipotle several times at other locations and I will never go back to them. I checked out the IHB Chipotle and I must say, I’m impressed and I will go back.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with one of their star employees, Zachary. He made our experience fun and enjoyable. The food was good too.
We will all go back, especially to see Zachary.
Great job IHB Chipotle!
