Today 12/19 is the last day they open for 2025 and we felt so lucky to have caught it during our visit in LA!!
The fish is soooo fresh and truly top notch. Probably the best Sashimi we have ever had in the US.
The owners are nice and so generous in portion.
Highly recommend and I will definitely revisit next time we come to LA! Gotta try the blue fin!

My wife and I drove over 100 miles just to eat at this hidden gem on Bunker Hill Steps. Though it’s a tiny take-out only spot, it’s filled with beautiful people, an abundance of love, and truly amazing food. The tuna was bursting with flavor and melted in our mouths. And don’t miss out on ordering the tea and miso soup – they’re must-haves!

If you are near downtown LA you gotta visit this place. Chef Te and wife Lisa are the most lovely ppl. Everything is freshly made at the moment. They freaking age their own blue fin tuna. I wish I took a Pic of it because it was massive. I got Toro and it was so so delicious. I have a gluten allergy and they are very knowledgeable. Very honest and help me select which dish would be safest for my level of intolerance. They are not a dine in restaurant but there are so many areas to sit outside near the area. Also they are partners with the US bank tower where you can sit and dine. Amazing food made by Amazing ppl, they just earned a loyal customer for my business trips.

Delicious food. Fish is really great quality and I really enjoy the variety of fruit and vegetables, especially the pickled ones.
Sometimes Chef will show me the fish he’s slicing up – it’s a treat to admire high quality ingredients.

This is a take out place with amazing sushi and a wonderful staff. We were not sure what to order, but then the very friendly woman at the window showed us the bento box the chef just finished and it was amazing. She also showed us pictures of the rolls and we ordered a salmon and a yellowtail roll (the chef showed us the fish 🙂 ). The presentation was artistic and the food amazing!

I didn’t know this place was takeout-only, so when I got there, I had to wait at least 30 minutes because all the other orders had been placed online in advance. I decided to wait, and it turned out to be one of the smartest decisions I’ve made—the wait was absolutely worth it. Their sashimi was incredibly fresh and rich, the seaweed rice was also delicious, and the portions were generous! Considering the high quality of food, the price is fairly reasonable!

I was in town for a work trip and stumbled across this place, and I’ll be dreaming about this sushi for a long time. The most buttery, melt in your mouth salmon I’ve ever had, in a perfectly crafted roll that was incredibly fresh. The portions are very sizable, so just one order was more than filling enough. I’ll definitely be stopping here every time I’m back in L.A.
