It was the most average piece of fish that one could buy from Walmart frozen section and pan fry at home for less than one-tenth of the cost.
Ridiculously small portion size for the price, no special recipe or seasoning, a minimal effort dish! And they describe the menu is crafted by a Michelin star chef. The dish was a joke!
For dessert, the server recommended the chocolate cream pie. The mousse was good, but just a lot of chocolate flavor in the dish, nothing to balance it out. I would choose something else. Bill was $60 for one person for 2 items.
Note: 20% gratuity is added by default.
We had the tasting menu and were completely full before the final two dishes came out and dessert.
It was weird that for our party of six we had two of every dish, except for when the steak came out and there’s only one steak. That was the one dish we could’ve really used two of.
The chocolate mousse you can also see look like someone took a bite out of it instead of just being the whole plate.
Overall, it was a wonderful menu and a wonderful tasting and we would definitely come back, but probably stick to the muscles and the steak.
Food temperature was uncomfortable. Thankful that staff replaced our order of fish croquettes when we told them the center was still cold. First time having oyster rockefellers that were raw (crust on top was warm). Most dishes were lukewarm. Cool to try out, but would not recommend or revisit.
I absolutely recommend trying the “Broma Experience” (basically tasting menu) for the table. Hot tip for vegetarians: they accommodated me and custom-made at least 3 vegetarian dishes that aren’t on their regular menu. Of course everything was absolutely delicious. I loved getting to experience the chef’s creativity in coming up with something unique (check out the photos!).
Went here for a special occasion, it’s nice inside without being too stuffy, it’s about smart casual. Booked a table on Opentable and got a call from the restaurant a few hours before saying there was a sold-out concert at Shoreline and to allow for extra time, which was really appreciated.
2 of us did the Broma experience, which is a 6 course menu. The food was overall good. Service was also good, friendly and welcoming and accommodating when we had to rush out at the end.
There is a parking garage for the hotel you can park in for free.
