I am so happy this place opened in Lafayette. It’s better then any other Sushi place around here. I love the ‘All you can Eat’. I get to try different things each time. The service is super nice and very fast. It has a nice modern ambiance. The Sushi Chefs are great. Check this place out

This place is a true gem in Lafayette! We wanted to try a new sushi spot and ended up at Hokkaido- and we’re so glad we did. The all-you-can-eat sushi was fantastic! Everything was fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions.
The Happy Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Lobster Roll, Mayflower Roll, and the Nigiri were all absolutely wonderful.
The staff was super attentive and friendly. They even brought out a cheesecake and sang happy birthday to my partner! Such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The best salmon nigiri I have ever had. Service was incredible even though it was dinner time and on a Saturday! Incredible AYCE menu. Cannot wait to go back!!

That said, we did run into a bit of an issue with the restaurant’s policy. There were four of us who wanted to do the all-you-can-eat option, but my husband just wanted to order and pay for a single roll since he wasn’t very hungry. Unfortunately, they don’t allow that — the entire table has to participate in ayce or you all must order à la carte.
We still made the best of it and will come back. But we do feel that this kind of policy should be clearly stated online to help people plan.

十分美味！ 美味佳肴！值得关注！All you can sushi is quite the deal if that’s what you’re in the mood for! Try the mango roll! Thinly sliced mango adorning the sushi. Chefs kiss. Kudos to the knife skills by the sushi chefs who put out nigiri and sashimi out like it’s no big deal. Love this family run restaurant. We plan on returning with a bigger appetite.

This place is incredible! Our group did the AYCE style for ordering and it was perfect. We had excellent service and all of the sushi was delicious. The favorites were the albacore, super white tuna and the tuna carpaccio. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Went to try Hokkaido out today – it was great! The all you can eat menu was a nice size – not too big, nor too limited. Also, sashimi on an all you can eat menu is hard to find, and was delicious! The staff was very friendly, and the space has been nicely renovated.

Food was wonderful! Fish was very fresh. Salmon and yellowtail melted like butter!
We got the ‘all you can eat’. Giving this place a 3 star only because of the service. It was Very slow. We waited TWENTY SEVEN minutes for our first order! The menu says ‘maximum dining time 90 minutes for all guests” so now I know why it took them 27 minutes to bring 8 pieces of nigiri.
The last order of only two hamachi finally got here about 15 minutes later and was really chewy. Nothing like the first one!
