Owner and staff were very friendly. The servings were a good size. I ordered the smothered pork chops, mac n cheese and yams. My daughter got the kids party wings ( she said was the best wings she has had) . When I tell you those pork chops were soooo tinder. I barely needed my plastic knife to cut them. The mac n cheese was cheesin . They introduced me to Arnold Palmers which I was hesitant because what they didn’t know is i hate lemonade but that Arnold palmer was bustin. This place we found “Googling” comfort food locally, and it was a true hidden gem! We came back the next day too!
The food is listed as Soul Food, but they have far more too.
Online menu is available, they do deliver by the main services, Door Dash, Grubhub, etc.
So, the food was so very good. It’s that home cooked feeling you want when your just tired of fast food, or quickly made items.
The Smoked ribs came with BBQ sauce, but never got to it, they were just so good without it, never even opened them. Fall off the bone, bone sucking kinda ribs!
The Smothered pork chops with gravy and rice was really good.
The sides were another pleasure:
Loaded potato was on point!
Garlic Broccoli was excellent!
Peach Cobbler, was unbelievably made!
Banana Pudding was just like you know its supposed to be made!
Greens were good, only thing is that they were sweet, some like it, some don’t, it’s a personal preference.
Try this place if your ever in the area. The have a Food Truck too.

Went to the actual restaurant and the food wasn’t all that. The cashier was cool. However I believe the food isn’t fresh, but is warmed once order. I could hear the microwave being used, plus my candied yams were chilled, not lukewarm, but chilled. I guess they weren’t heated long enough in the back. Also my peach cobbler did not look nor taste fresh. I will say the Mac and cheese is . I went twice, only because I received a coupon for 10% off after my first visit. However when I went back, I didn’t even get the full discount and the food was still not worth it. They seem like nice people, but I won’t be back to this restaurant. I wonder if my experience would have been different if I had the food from the food truck.

While on the hunt for some food in Jonesboro Georgia I came across this restaurant. To my surprise, they had some African print skirts on display. Besides my food I got some beautiful threads. Now let me say as a person who has lived in Africa, these skirts are the real deal, not made in China. they’re doubled line and awesome. The food was amazing, tasty, and I’m still working on finishing it.

I was walking to Subway and stumbled upon this truck. Man am I glad I did! The food is delicious!!! Great seasoning and flavor on every item. He was courteous and with to deliver as well. Definitely worth a try if you find him.

Food came out hot and relatively quickly .We ordered lamb , smothered turkey wings , green beans , mashed potatoes , Mac and cheese and greens . The two gentlemen in the shop that were visible were nice and accommodating . The food was good only reason for a four star instead of five was my greens had a sweet taste at first which I’m not a fan of but I was hungry the rest of it went from sweet as if sugar was sprinkled on it to salty like extra salty to the point of not enjoyable . The chops were tender and juicy and my turkey wing meat seasoned well and tender no struggle with the meat the Mac and cheese was good . Just those greens for me . I’m a foodie lol so one thing can mess up my whole food experience . I still feel like overall it’s somewhere I’d order from again if I’m in the area just not the greens for ME . I have food Instagram blog Vibes_with_kesha_ , and a tik tok Juskesha87 dedicated to my experiences I go eat out at least once a month so my little splurged I need to be A1 the food is good reasonably priced . Hopefully that was just a one day mess up on the greens and you may prefer yours that way . Just detailing my experience

I ordered the Mac and cheese lamb chops and yams, extra yams, extra Mac and cheese. I’m super picky about soulfood and lamb and this hit the spot. I wanna order more but they closed at 7 and I ordered at 6:30. I’m waiting for my kids to say they full so I can devour they leftovers. Worth every penny.
