Me and my D1 baddie Catlin ate some badass comida here. There were lots of basic locals walking to boring restaurants, however we decided to make a last minute turn into a parking lot (reverse parked) and get tacos here. It was even raining but we ate outside because neither of us were afraid. Food was great, got pics, $30 for two with taxes and 20% tip

This is my favorite stop after a Cat’s Cradle concert. I’m glad to continue the tradition since I’ve graduated. His bus may have seen many improvements and additions through the years but the owner’s tacos and friendly customer service has remained the same.

Ordered pollo, pastor, and asada tacos with added pickled onions and red salsa! The filling was so generous and tender and I am a huge pickled onion fan. Notably, they don’t come topped with onion, but rather, a few grilled pieces on the side. Lime is juicy and not dry.
A note about timing- they arrived around 7:15 to the parking lot and were open a little later.
I also thought that the price labelling was sort of sporadic.

Y’all ain’t even know how much money I’ve spent on the #5 breakfast burrito at City Bus (currently known as Taco King USA , until he gets his other bus fixed up). The location is in the parking lot right in front of Carolina Detail place.
Mac or Emilio, the owner of the bus handles the monetary transactions while his wife does the cooking. He sells a variety of tacos, burritos, tortas, drinks, etc.
I cannot talk enough about the #5 breakfast burrito which contains chorizo (Mexican sausage), bacon, eggs , rice , and beans. Get that green sauce too. Ughh.
PS. He is consistently closed on Mondays, but is typically there everyday from 8PM-2AM (even though his hours state otherwise). He is sometimes closed on certain days when he has catering events, although there is no social media coverage when he’s not gonna be there . I’m still addicted to his food though.

Great food & the only place I eat after leaving a concert at Cat’s Cradle.
Our #5s were fantastic, thank you, my friend.

hands down, the only place to eat after a concert at Cats Cradle. Carne Asada City Bus Burrito is the closest i have had to a Cotijas burrito in San Diego, which is the standard. Will give this food bus my money every time, with no hesitation. absolutely excellent.

One of the best burritos in a town with tons of competition – super fresh ingredients, plenty of options, and they do a great job with alterations / dietary restrictions. Make sure you get the hot sauce – they’ll warn you that it’s spicy and that’s no lie.

I go about every 10 days and it’s always amazing. They have the best carnitas tacos and all around the best value tacos in chapel hill! Also the owner is so nice and really cares about the customers!

First time here last night after a concert at Cats Cradle, everything else was closed in that area for food. Service was nice and quick….but the food was even better! I hate I live almost two hours away. I will be dreaming about that barbacoa quesadilla for the rest of the weekend. I can’t wait to come back that way and try again.
